“You and Hector obviously plotted to k!ll us. But mark my words, Jepoy’s dëäth won’t be in vain. I’m done playing fair with a cheater like you! If you just listened to your conscience and did what was right, Carlos wouldn’t be lying dead right now!”
Romina bested the scumbag and struggled to fend off the others. Carlos came to even the odds a moment before Hector made away with the goons. Romina reunited with her daughter. Meanwhile, Bernard questioned Daniela’s motive for showing up at Camila as she asked about her daughter and husband. At the hospital, the doctor assured Romina that her daughter was fine.
As she and the others sobbed over Jepoy’s fate, Daniela confronted Hector about her family almost getting hurt. Hector reminded her that she was partly to blame since she had also helped plan it. Cassie asked her mother about her uncle Jepoy and Romina recounted to her his sad fate. She then mentioned having seen Hector during the recent ättaçk. Marga revealed her run-in with her mother at the event.
“I don’t know what she was doing there,” Marga said. “But she kept telling me and dad to leave.”
Daniela hounded Carlos and as she badmouthed Romina, Mina came upon the scene. Consumed with rage, she grabbed a stethoscope and strangled her for a good while before Carlos separated them. “Come here, Daniela,” Mina hissed. “You’re the one who should have died? You want a fight to the death? Then you’ve got it!”
Cassie and others came over as Daniela played dumb and acted the victim. “You and Hector obviously plotted to k!ll us,” Mina hissed. “But mark my words, Jepoy’s death won’t be in vain. I’m done playing fair with a cheater like you!”
Hector was pretty upset over his constant failures to k!ll Romina and capture Cassie. He planned on using the rat in Mina’s camp to be one step ahead of her. He then made a phone call. “I’m glad you decided to pick up. I have a job for you.”
Marga and Carlos questioned Daniela about the explosion at Camila’s event. Danny girl denied having had a hand in it, but of course they didn’t believe her. Romina held Jepoy’s wake at Navotas. Soon enough, Daniela crashed it. Meanwhile, Kulas was grumbling nonstop about the people around Romina always being in danger.
Romina had a call from the police, telling her about the suspect who had refused to tell who he was working for. On Marga’s account, the police questioned Daniela about her involvement with Hector and the explosion at Camila’s event. Meanwhile, Romina interrogated the suspect and forced him into revealing Hector’s hideout.
Daniela denied all the allegations against her, much to her daughter’s disgust and sent the officers off. Marga appalled, asking how she could sleep at night when so many lives had been ruined while someone else ended up dead. After Daniela refused to end her feud with Romina, Marga cut ties with her and stormed off.
Romina had a talk with the chief, insisting on going along with the police to raid Hector’s hideout. She had a phone call from Cassie and she told her about her plans. The entire camp heard it as Cassie’s phone was on loudspeaker. A moment later, Hector had a phone call from the rat in Mina’s camp.
The police, with Romina, arrived at Hector’s hideout. They were soon outguñned by Hector and his hoodlums. After taking out the last officer, Hector cornered Romina and shot her down. Before he could confirm k!ll, he slipped away as backup arrived. Carlos and Bernard found Romina, who soon regained consciousness and revealed the bulletproof vest she wore under her dress.
A moment later, Romina and Carlos caught up with Hector and a shoot-out ensued. Hector ran out of büllëts but managed to slip away again as Romina asked him to surrender.Hector called his goons, gave them Romina’s current location and ordered them to finish her off. Some time later, Carlos suffered multiple guñshøts wounds as they were blindsided by the goons.
Mina tried talking him into hanging on while Carlos entrusted Marga into her care. Daniela came upon the scene and wailed uncontrollably as Carlos tried to reason with her for the last time. “I want us all to be together again someday,” Carlos said. “But that’s just a dream. Because you let your anger get the better of you. My only wish is that Marga doesn’t end up like you.”
Daniela called out for help. “I løvë you, but I wish you could have learned to forgive.” Carlos dropped dead. Danny girl wailed all the more as Mina stood by.
At the morgue, Daniela vowed to get ‘justice’ for what had happened to Carlos. Upon sighting Romina, she started blaming her for Carlos’ death. She grabbed her and tried to shove her face into Carlos’ bloody clothes. Mina broke free.
“Why are you trying so hard to convince yourself that it wasn’t your fault?” Mina asked. “Had you helped us look for Hector and bring him to jail, Carlos wouldn’t have died. So if there’s anyone to blame for his death, it’s you! If you just listened to your conscience and did what was right, Carlos wouldn’t be lying dead right now!”
Leon walked in and pulled Romina away as she tried talking some sense into Danny girl. “You have to stop believing that Hector is any kind of ally. The fact that he did this to your husband means that he can do it to you as well.”
