Isabel Loses Her Baby & Becomes More Resentful Of Bianca. Roman Bills Carlos For The Losses Of The Company. An Embittered Carlos Resorts To Drastic Measures To Survive With Rigor’s Help.
Isabel storms the Dela Vega mansion with her husband in tow and demands for her sister to leave with her. Steph refuses to do so and when Isabel tries to drag her along, she resists and refuses to budge. Carlos tries in vain to talk the little girl into leaving.
Bianca puts in a few words which annoys Isabel as usual and when Steph bluntly refuses to leave the mansion, Isabel throws a fit and storms out. Unfortunately, she trips and falls and Carlos carries her and hurries her to the hospital. Bianca is distressed and stricken with guilt over the unfortunate incident.
At the hospital, Dr. Josh woefully delivers the bad news to Carlos – Isabel has lost her baby. He then proceeds to inform his daughter with such a heavy heart. Isabel is left devastated with her loss and her father tries to console her.
Carlos soon takes his place with a look of vengeance on his face.While Grandma Lydia tells Gabriel and Bianca about what had happened, Carlos wallows in misery and blames Gabriel for his misfortune and so he vows to get back at him.
As Gabriel receives a visit from Derek in his office, Marilyn hangs out with Bianca in hers and manages to cheer her up. In the meantime, Carlos reflects on his rivalry with Gabriel and he reaffirms his oath of vengeance.
Gabriel reaches out to his father to recommend Olsen for the position of warehouse custodian but Roman is reluctant to grant his wish as he argues that it’s not an easy job. Gabriel manages to convince him that his buddy is capable. Roman summons Carlos into his office to ask of how Isabel is doing.
After Carlos shrugs off his concern, Roman questions him about the mess he had made of the company which Gabriel is now cleaning up. He then holds him accountable for the losses they had suffered, amounting to 9 million.
Carlos is taken by surprise and he shocks Roman with his lack of remorse over what he had done to Gabriel that had damaged the reputation and business of the company. Grandma Lydia brings Steph to see her sister at the hospital but she treats them both with indifference and chases them off.
For the zillionth time, Carlos makes a scene at the office of Dela Vega Group as he openly picks another fight with Gabriel on account of Roman’s insistence that he pay for the losses of the company. Gabriel later goes to see his father to talk to him about the matter and he makes a futile attempt to convince him to change his mind.
In no time, Olsen is officially made the warehouse custodian. Isabel is brought home after being discharged from the hospital and she gives her sister her usual rotten attitude when she tries to take care of her.
Carlos is hounded by the casino owner for the money he owes him and Rigor manages to calm down the guy and strike a deal with him that leaves Carlos even more distressed; they’re to be his loan sharks and collect money from a businessman called Richmond.
While Derek comes to see his cousin at their new place, Carlos reluctantly tags along with Rigor and they confront Richmond. Since the guy can’t pay, they decide to seize his car and make away with it. Miserable father and son deliver the car to the casino owner, only to discover the breaking news of the mürdër of Richmond.
In order to cover their tracks, they’re ordered to dispose off the car. Carlos and Rigor proceed to do just that and in an interesting turn of events, they find some diamonds in the car and decide to take it for themselves. They abandon the car in the forest and flee, with Rigor unknowingly leaving his wallet behind.
