Victor Is Found Guilty & Imprisoned. Yvonne & Marcus Struggle To Cope. Janine Basks In Her Victory & Plots To Do More Damage.
Yvonne engages in a screaming contest with Janine over what she had done to her mother. Carmen rises to her feet, calls for order and gets in the face of the modern witch known as Janine. She then declares that if Janine’s mother hadn’t been able to cut off her horns, then she would do so herself.
Later at the washroom with Carla, Janine whines and rants about how she’s the legal wife and not the one in the wrong. Upon their return home, Marlon gets pretty upset to learn of the incident earlier where Janine had shoved his mother down.
As he tries to go and confront her, Carmen discourages him and talks some sense into him. Speaking of, Aunt Vida pays her miserable niece a visit to taunt her with her situation and lashes out at her for playing victim when everything that happened to her was her fault.
During another hearing of the concubinage case, Yvonne takes the stand and is cross-examined by Janine’s lawyer who makes deliberate attempts to make her look like the guilty party. She’s questioned about the agreement she had gone into with Janine in regards to Victor’s recovery. Eventually, Yvonne admits that she’s still in løvë with her ex-husband.
At the next hearing, Victor is cross-examined by the lawyer and Janine makes a scene when he claims that he had stayed back at Yvonne’s place after his recovery because of his obligation to his son. When it gets to Janine’s turn to testify, she recounts how she had initially met Victor.
She’s cross-examined by Yvonne’s lawyer and begins making a scene when questioned about the agreement she had made with Yvonne. Janine blatantly insists that she had done that for the sake of her husband’s recovery. She accuses Victor and Yvonne of betraying her and then shows the former’s diary to prove it.
Eventually, Victor is found guilty and sentenced to six years imprisonment, much to Janine’s delight and Yvonne and Marcus’ misery. Victor has a dramatic goodbye with his son before he’s taken away. Marcus then confronts the witch that is Janine and berates her for having his father imprisoned because he doesn’t løvë her anymore.
While Marcus and Yvonne strive to deal with their misfortune, Janine pays Victor a visit in prison to gloat over her victory. On her way out, she has an unfriendly encounter with Marlon. Later, Albert comes to see Yvonne and Marcus to check up on them.
Marlon brings Victor some stuff that had been prepared for him. Victor urges him to take good care of the family while he’s away. Albert reaches out to Marcus and he has a heartfelt conversation with him and manages to cheer him up with his “magic tricks”.
As greedy as all witches who have walked the face of the earth, Janine isn’t satisfied to see Victor in prison; she wants Yvonne, Doris and Victor’s mother Sonia to suffer as well. Yvonne agrees with Albert’s request to let him take Marcus out to cheer him up some more. She then thanks him for all his help.
Gary has a talk with his mother and makes a futile attempt to convince her to talk to Janine so she can drop the charges against Yvonne, Sonia and Doris. Meanwhile, Yvonne is determined to find a good source of income to battle the case Janine is likely to file against her; now that her son has been deprived of his father, she won’t let him lose her too.
