Carlos Resorts To Gambling. Roman Rebukes Gabriel. Olsen Identifies The Mastermind Behind The Fiasco Of Vega Pacifico. Carlos Punches Olsen & Threatens Him. Gabriel Discovers the Truth.
Gabriel approaches his father at home to talk to him about Carlos. He brings up the request Roman had made before and decides to honor it. The next morning at the office, a coworker reaches out to Gabriel to talk to him about the sabotage of Vega Pacifico. She implicates Carlos and for some reason, Gabriel decides that he needs strong evidence to prove his guilt before he can take any action against him.
In the meantime, Olsen continues with his investigation into the sabotage of the Dela Vega airline company and he’s taken by surprise to discover some information which points out Carlos as the perpetrator. A moment later, he pays a visit to Andrew, a worker at Vega Pacifico and strives to get something useful out of him.
Following the disgrace that had befallen Vega Pacifico, Roman rebukes Gabriel and charges him to shape up. Carlos can’t help but to bask in the misery of his rival and nemesis. At home, Gabriel talks to his wife about the matter at hand and how to deal with it.
Carlos ends up in a very dicey situation again. In desperate need of money, he resorts to gambling again. He plays poker with some guys and fortunately for him, he gets to hold the highest-ranking hand, thereby winning the game. They go another round and after everyone is dealt their cards, they go all-in.
Ironically, Carlos gets a royal flush and wins yet again and he wisely decides to call it quits. He then cashes in the chips for a cheque. Upon his return home, Carlos joins his wife in bed and gladly surprises her with the money he had acquired.
Olsen informs Marilyn about the shocking discovery he had made which implicated Carlos as the saboteur of Vega Pacifico. Simoen overhears and goes to gossip to his boss. A moment later, Carlos calls him into his office and greets him with a punch to the face. He then berates and threatens him before kicking him out.
While Chuchay and her companions are making some products for sale at home, Gabriel and Bianca pay them a visit. As they do a little catching up, an acquaintance of theirs (Chuchay and co) shows up with Rigor in tow. Gabriel stares daggers at his fake father. Apparently, he and Sylvia had been in a relationship before.
Later, Gabriel asks his grandma about the matter and Lydia reveals how Rigor had courted Sylvia.
While Steph hangs out with Jay Jay during recess in school, Gabriel finally pays a visit to the grave of Clara, his biological mother, in the company of his wife Bianca. He gets pretty emotional and Bianca strengthens him.
Rigor is compelled to make a job advertisement at the bar Sylvia works at and he almost ends up causing trouble. Sylvia comes over to call him to order. Carlos makes another appearance at the casino and he joins the other players at the table to try out his luck again. This guy is seriously tempting fate.
At Dela Vega Group, Olsen applies some ice to his poor busted lip and he proceeds to inform Gabriel of everything he had discovered. Gabriel relays the info to Roman who calls his private investigator and orders him to confirm whether Carlos was the one who had really sabotaged Vega Pacifico.
