“It would be a life for a life. You left me in the woods. And told Kulas what happened. Get ready. I’m coming for you next.”
Romina got herself kicked out of the Mangubat house as she tried reasoning with Roxanne about her career-criminal father. On her way out, she ran into Carlos who offered to help her search for Hector. Meanwhile, the Mean Squad mocked and ridiculed the Mondragons over their family’s problems.
While holding Marga back, Cassie chased them off. Upset that Cassie had made her look like a loser, Marga threw a fit.Kulas was pretty upset that Daniela had been freed when she was facing mürdër charges. The undisputed pathological liar put on a ‘sob show’ to fool the old man into forgiving her.
Later, Carlos told his dad about his decision to help Romina in tracking down Hector. Kulas was strongly against it. Hector was pretty upset that Daniela had been released after abandoning him in the woods. He ordered his lackeys to keep an eye on her and Romina so he could make them pay. “It would be a life for a life.”
Cassie apologized to Marga and promised not to meddle in her affairs any longer, suggesting that they team up to find Hector. Soon enough, Marga questioned Roxanne about the whereabouts of her ‘criminal dad’. Upon learning of Daniela’s release from prison, camp Romina was determined to track down Hector.
Meanwhile, Cassie reasoned with Marga on a better approach to milk Roxanne for information regarding her father’s whereabouts. She suggested that they befriend her. Daniela tried to reach her daughter on phone, all to no avail. She was soon delivered a message from Hector : “You left me in the woods. And told Kulas what happened. Get ready. I’m coming for you next.”
Marga pointed out the obvious flaws in Cassie’s plan. Cassie suggested that they look for psycho Eva instead since she was also Hector’s accomplice. “I wish we knew where miss Eva was staying at,” Cassie voiced out deliberately. Marga flashed back to the day she had found her mother visiting the madwoman’s hideout. Meanwhile, Romina asked some undercover cops to guard Alvin’s gravesite since Hector was likely to visit.
She then showed them the anonymous message she had received concerning Daniela’s baby. Certain that it was Hector, Mina asked them to trace the number. Daniela was indifferent about Hector’s threat, confident that she had him wrapped around her finger. She was hellbent on finding him so she could use him against Romina.
On account of Camila’s damaged reputation, Romina proposed to the board that they do a rebranding and change the company’s name into hers. She then gave a talk about taking risks and entering the international market, mentioning how she had closed a deal with a foreign partner. Romina was upset that Daniela was laying claims to her hard earned money. She stormed the Bartolome house and confronted her about it.
Marga, who had come to see nanny Esther was appalled. She left with Romina and later called the police, tipping them off about Eva’s hideout.
Daniela brainwashed psycho Eva into ‘avenging’ Robert’s death by getting rid of Romina for good. Noticing the arrival of the police, Danny girl alerted the madwoman. How they both got away without being seen is far beyond me.
At Maxwell, Carlos had a talk with Romina about the problems with his business and Marga’s future. Mina offered him a vacant position at Camila’s production department, suggesting that he leave the car shop in his dad’s hands. Enter Daniela, who came to start her usual bickerings with Romina. Carlos threw his decision for an annulment in her face.
Marga actually scolded her sorry excuse of a mother for always prioritizing her dubious schemes over her own family. Daniela claimed that she had no idea where Eva or Hector were hiding. She promised to cooperate with the police to find them so she could prove her innocence. Marga wouldn’t be fooled though. Carlos came over with Romina in tow. “What are you doing here?” he asked his dearest wife. “Are you trying to poison our daughter’s mind with your lies again?”
“Don’t worry, dad,” Marga said. “Mom was just about to leave.” When Daniela refused to budge, Marga decide to leave instead.
“Where are you going?” Carlos asked.
“Don’t worry about me, dad. I know what’s right and wrong. Unlike others,” Marga added, sizing up Danny girl before disappearing.
Daniela started trading words with Romina. Mina goaded and taunted her, offering her face for her to slap while Carlos served as referee. Daniela threatened to pay her back for everything she had taken from her.
“Do you miss prison that much?” Romina taunted, unfazed. “That can be arranged.”
Neil and Bonita told Romina that the preparations for Camila’s rebranding were all set. Neil asked about Maxwell’s PTA meeting and Mina recounted how Daniela had made another scene there again.
“She’s a broken record,” Neil said. “She doesn’t even have any self respect.”
“I’m just standing by letting her dig her grave on her own. With the way she’s acting, she’ll just continue to push everyone away. She’ll be all alone with nobody else to turn to except Hector. And when she does, that’s when we’ll catch them both.”
As Cassie tried to reason with Roxanne about giving up her father’s location for his own safety, Nadya came over with the rest of the squad to mock them both. Marga joined them as she went raining on her parade.
“I think I know why you’re stuck up,” Roxy taunted. “I bet your parents barely know you exist, so you’re taking your anger out on me.”
Nadya went at her and Roxy gave her double for her trouble as Cassie joined the mix.
“Why are you defending her?” Nica asked. “After what her father did to you.”
“Roxanne had nothing to do with her father’s crimes,” Cassie shot back. “She’s innocent. Just like me and Marga.”
“I guess you can’t help but defend each other,” Nadya mocked. “Future criminals gotta stick together.”
After Nica threw another jab, Roxy pounced on the squad. Nadya shoved her, hitting her head hard against the floor. Arriving on the scene, Daniela agreed to have her taken to the hospital. Hector had a call from one of his goons, telling him about his daughter being admitted at the hospital after hitting her head in a fight. “Stay right there,” Hector ordered. “Monitor all her visitors. I’m on my way.” Turning to the other henchmen at the hideout, he merely said, “Get ready. Time to work.”
