Janine Declares War On Victor & His Family; She Cooks Up A Sinister Scheme To Ruin Them All. Victor Is Convicted & Jailed.
Yvonne resolves to give into Victor’s fervent wish to get back together to rebuild their family. Janine suffers a miscarriage and has a stillborn following her recent spotting incident.
She struggles to deal with her loss and after laying her baby to rest, she storms Yvonne’s house to declare vendetta on Victor and his ex-wife and their entire household. As Victor is reeling from the terrible news, Marlon adds to his trouble. Albert says his final goodbyes to Yvonne to leave town.
Victor makes his intentions all the more clear to Yvonne; Janine’s threats leaves him distressed. Following his fallout with his girlfriend, Marlon gets wasted and finds himself in mortal danger. After Victor comes to his rescue, Carmen strives to convince him to give him another chance and let bygones be bygones.
Yvonne lamely visits Janine’s house to offer her condolences and she’s met with absolute hostility. Janine makes it crystal clear that she would never get Victor back because she would pursue her case against him. Kenjie tries to make Janine see reason, all to no avail.
Once Victor receives a subpoena from the court regarding the concubinage case, he reaches out to Janine in an attempt to settle the issue. He however gets double for his trouble. Janine seeks her lawyer’s counsel and makes it her mission to find proof of Victor’s recovery in order to strengthen her case against him.
While Sonia suffers a stroke, policemen visit Yvonne’s house to serve Victor with a warrant of arrest for failing to respond to the subpoena he had received before.Janine’s madness seems to have no limits as she plots to ruin Victor’s entire family. She turns down a reasonable proposition Kenjie makes her in order to focus on her case.
Doris storms Janine’s house to confront her following her mother-in-law’s hospitalization and an altercation ensues. As soon as she receives her commission, Janine decides to use it to send her husband to prison. Thanks to Daria’s treachery, Victor is picked up by the police and taken into custody while Sonia recovers at the hospital.
While Kenjie strives to talk some sense into Janine, Victor is compelled to move out of Yvonne’s house after being bailed out. Janine proceeds with her plan to subpoena Yvonne, Doris and Sonia. After she displays her true colors, Yvonne resolves to fight back.
The need arises for strong evidence to strengthen the concubinage case so Janine vows to get it by hook or crook, hell-bent on fulfilling her ridiculous revenge scheme. Dale makes another futile attempt to convince Janine to give him another. Following an altercation with Yvonne, the concubinage case is finally tried in court.
Carmen puts Janine in her place when she tries to talk down at her and to show her rotten manners, the shameless woman resorts to violence, perking up Yvonne’s anger. Aunt Vida makes her return to admonish her despicable niece. Victor is eventually found guilty and sentenced; Yvonne, Marcus and the rest of the family strive to deal with the aftermath of their misfortune.
