Carlos Cooks Up Another Sinister Scheme To Bring Gabriel Down. Roman Remains Determined To Prove Rigor’s Involvement In Victoria’s Death. Carlos Is Finally Exposed.
After setting up Gabriel to ruin him and his brand, Carlos reaches out to Roman to put the final nail in the coffin. However, Roman defends and backs up his son against the board and investors before giving him a talking-to. Gabriel organizes an investigation into the recent misfortunes of the company and he manages to reopen Laban and put plans in place for its recovery.
Carlos is shocked beyond measure when Gabriel beats him to win the prestigious award they had both been nominated for. Upset with the constant threats and blackmails, Rigor hunts down Emilio and finishes him off before he can expose him to Roman.
Nevertheless, Roman’s suspicions of Rigor intensifies following the discovery of the dead body.
Once Carlos learns of Rigor’s suspected involvement in his mother’s death, he confronts him in a fit of rage and Rigor comes clean.
Desperate to cover his tracks, Rigor sneaks into the Dela Vega mansion in search of the supposed video of Victoria’s death. However, things don’t go so well as Roman blindsides him and the ensuing dramatic encounter leads up to his arrest.
Olsen notifies Gabriel about his suspicions of Carlos’ involvement in the Vega Pacifico double bookings. Grandma Lydia strives to deal with her miserable son’s capture. Unfortunately, Rigor regains his freedom after retracting his earlier statement.
Olsen, Chuchay and the rest of their companions at home are robbed of their possessions and earnings by some scoundrel. Carlos displays his rotten personality when he chances upon Steph on phone with Bianca’s brother.Roman remains determined to find evidence to get justice for Victoria before he undergoes surgery.
As fate will have it, his health deteriorates and so he’s taken to the hospital where he’s stabilized. The NBI finds the witness to Maila’s death to point out the suspect; when Carlos gets implicated, Rigor decides to take the blame to save him.
Carlos is left off the hook since there’s not enough evidence to build a case against him. After receiving a well-deserved punch from Ben, Carlos pays his miserable father a visit and makes it a point to put on a show in another attempt to bring Gabriel down.
Measures are put in place for Roman’s operation. Roman asks Gabriel to do him a favor and after being discharged from the hospital, he seeks Bianca’s help as well.Bianca starts to have second thoughts about her husband’s decision.
Carlos serves Gabriel a warning and pits the idea to Roman to merge Laban and TigerShark. Roman buys into it and Gabriel resolves to partner with his nemesis. Carlos resorts to gambling again to make ends meet and fortune shines its face on him this time around.
Gabriel finally grants Roman’s request. Olsen has the shock of his life to come across information that implicates Carlos in the sabotage of the company. Roman rebukes Gabriel on account of the fallout of the Vega Pacifico fiasco; Carlos on the other hand, rejoices.
Lydia reveals how Rigor courted Sylvia. Carlos deals with Olsen on account of an unfavorable news he catches him delivering. Eventually, his dreaded moment arrives and he’s compelled to leave the mansion after he’s exposed.
