“Romina. This doesn’t end here. You better watch your back. Remember how this situation started. Daniela’s still keeping a lot of secrets.”
Alvin dusted a güñ and handed it over to psycho Eva, who taunted Romina with it and fired multiple shots at her. Meanwhile, Leon confronted Hector about Romina’s disappearance and Robert’s death. The great evil played dumb. “We’re going to find the evidence against you,” Leon declared. “I’ll make sure of it.”
Storming the Bartolomes with the police, Neil went at Daniela and started pulling her hair untill Carlos came to separate them. He then announced his sister missing. The police asked her whereabouts the day before and Daniela claimed that she had been with Savannah the whole day. Psycho Eva was still spouting her crazies at the hideout.
Romina groaned something and when Eva removed her gag, she told her that she wasn’t the one who k!lled Robert, pointing out Hector as the culprit.
Even after the madwoman smacked her with the güñ, she still insisted her case. The basketball coach caught Mikoy sleeping in the locker room again.
He scolded him and asked him to get his things out of the place. Alvin was disappointed to find Romina still alive on his return to the hideout. Eva told him that she wasn’t sure yet. She eventually chased him off. Meanwhile, Carlos confronted Hector about Romina’s whereabouts. As Daniela tried dragging him away, Hector mocked him.
“I wanna end this mess so our family can live in peace,” Carlos said to his dearest wife. “If I find out you’re involved in this in anyway, how ever little it may be, you’ll never see me or your kids again.”
While Leon tailed Hector, psycho Eva was determined to keep Romina alive until she proved her innocence. Romina tried fooling her into working together to get justice for Robert’s death. Meanwhile, Hector made out Leon and lost him. Psycho Eva was in the process of untying Romina when she suddenly stopped and held her at güñpøint again. Her restraints a bit loose now, Mina freed herself and bested the madwoman. She then ran off and evaded Alvin who was preoccupied with his phone outside.
Psycho Eva told Alvin about Romina’s escape. He soon spotted her and went in pursuit through the woods. As he and Eva wondered where she had gone, Romina hanged on to a tree nearby. She almost tumbled down but managed to catch herself. “Cassie,” Mina breathed. “I’m coming back. I promise. I’ll come back for you, Cassie.” Crawling back onto level ground, Mina carried on.
In her rush to escape, Romina grazed her leg against a tree stump. She screamed out in pain, drawing her pursuers’ attention. After tying her leg with a cloth to keep herself from bleeding out, she limped off as she heard the madwoman calling out her name. “Romina!” Eva yelled as she and Alvin came upon Mina’s trail. “Where are you?! Show yourself! So I can end your suffering!”
Romina took cover behind a tree. Meanwhile, Hector found the trail his accomplices had gone earlier. Alvin and Eva came upon where Romina was hiding. They split up to search, going farther away from their target. A second later, Hector arrived at Romina’s hiding spot. As he closed in on her exact location, a disturbance drew his attention. Hector took cover behind a tree and Mina managed to slip away without being noticed.
“Romina!” Hector yelled, firing a shot. Turned out that he had shot his own brother in the arm. “I thought you were Romina.”
“Be careful next time,” Alvin groaned in pain. “You could have shot me in the head.”
Psycho Eva came over to learn of the laughable situation. Hector insisted that Alvin head back so he didn’t bleed to death. Meanwhile, Kristoff brought Mikoy to stay with them. Bernard gave him a warm reception and he promised not to be a burden to him.
“You’re part of the family now,” Bernard said. “Relax. Take as much time as you need. Feel at home.”
“This means a lot, sir.”
Romina limped her way to a truck by the road. She noticed a radio inside and managed to find her way in despite the locked door. Meanwhile, Cassie was sobbing and staring at a photo of her mom. As Romina grabbed the device and tried to radio for help, Alvin found her and dragged her out. Back at the Mondragons, a photo of Romina fell from it’s stand and shattered. Meanwhile, Alvin held Mina in a chokehold and mocked her.
Romina fumbled for a wëäpon in the truck. “This is not the end of the line for me, Alvin. But it might be for you.” Mina broke free and stabbed him in the chest.
Alvin stumbled back in shock. “Romina,” he moaned. “This doesn’t end here. You better watch your back. Remember how this situation started. Daniela’s still keeping a lot of secrets.”
Hector came upon the scene as Alvin dropped to the ground. As he fired at her, Romina ducked and escaped with Alvin’s güñ. In his last moments, Alvin asked his brother to avenge him and be a good dad to his daughter. “If I see you again… even if it’s in hell…” Man dropped dead before he could finish.
Romina ran into psycho Eva, who knocked her down with a hard hit to the head and began choking her while spouting her crazies. Flashing back to the moments she had had with her daughter, Romina mustered enough strength to reach for the güñ and smacked the madwoman, who still refused to back down even as she was being held at güñpøint. Hector came upon the scene and fired. Romina returned the favor before dropping to the ground.
Hector favored his wounded side as he towered over Romina and threatened to k!ll her brother and daughter right after. “And since you løvë Robert so much, you can join him in hell.”
Romina reached for the log Eva had dropped earlier and struck the güñ out of Hector’s hand. “How about you join your brother there!” she yelled, hitting him squarely in the face.
Hector tumbled down, rendered unconscious. Eva ran off as some watchdogs found Romina. As Mina asked them to call the police, she noticed Daniela wandering around before passing out. Daniela stared in disbelief when she found Alvin’s body. Meanwhile, Romina was wheeled into the emergency room at the hospital. The police had come up short in their search for Hector. Hector evaded them, smirking as if he had just won the lottery.
The doctor told Cassie and the others that her mom needed to undergo surgery because she was in a critical condition and had suffered several güñshot wounds. Cassie pleaded with her to save her mom. A moment later, the Tejadas arrived with Leon and Mikoy. Bernard announced that Alvin was dead while Hector had disappeared along with another accomplice.
“They’ll have to pay for what they did to my mom,” Cassie said. “My mom doesn’t deserve this.”
Daniela was shaking at home. When Carlos asked of where she had gone, she lied her way out. Meanwhile, the doctor announced that the operation had been successful.
“Thank you, doc,” Cassie sobbed.
“We need to wait for her to wake up, just to make sure there was no complications.”
