Victor Begins To Regain His Memories Of Janine. Dale’s Madness Leaves Audrey Traumatized. Janine Admits The Terrible Truth To Her Daughter.
The episode begins with Victor staggering to his feet and shrugging off the concern of some witnesses as he limps away. He recalls a couple of memories with Janine and that leaves him stunned. Meanwhile, Dale foolishly tries to take Audrey by force but she resists him, runs into the house and locks it. As Dale makes a scene outside, the nanny hides the little girl in the closet.
Eventually, Dale breaks into the house and as he strives to find them, Janine arrives home to chase him away. She then consoles her daughter as she breaks down. Marcus worries about his father’s wellbeing and Yvonne calms him down after she receives a reassuring text message from Gary.
In the meantime, Victor reaches out to Gary to have a talk with him about his memories. Gary takes him to go and have a look at Janine’s house and he remembers some more memories and urges him not to tell anyone about it until he’s fully recovered.
Audrey ends up somewhat traumatized on account of the madness Dale had displayed earlier so Janine reaches out to Carla for help. Victor returns home and Marcus eagerly receives him and starts fretting over him. He later seeks the counsel of the doctor on whether or not he could fully recover.
Carla goes to see Carmen on Janine’s behalf to inform her of Audrey’s condition and plead with her to talk Victor into coming to see the little girl. Later that night, Carmen talks to her daughter about the issue and expresses her worries for the girl’s wellbeing. Victor overhears.
Following Audrey’s hunger strike, Janine finds her passed out in her room and as she desperately strives to revive her, Victor suddenly shows up and helps to nurse her back to health, all the while hiding the fact that he now remembers them. Janine begins to regret the terrible things she had done that had taken a toll on her daughter.
Marcus strives to convince his mother to agree to go for an outing with him and his father with Victor’s birthday coming up. The next morning, Victor helps his son get ready for school and he informs Yvonne about his plan to go back to his teaching job. He soon delivers his resume and gets accepted with no trouble.
Upon her arrival at work, Yvonne happens to overhear some of her coworkers gossiping about who’s the mistress between her and Janine. They worry that the situation might ruin the image of the company. Audrey eagerly looks forward to a visit from her “father” and Janine keeps her company and strives to justify his inability to show up.
Emotionally, Janine admits to her daughter that Victor isn’t her real father. Gary gifts Victor a phone to use to keep in touch with Yvonne. He then proceeds to ask him of the recollection of his memories and whether his feelings for Janine have resurfaced.
Victor merely says he wants to make up for everything he’s done to Yvonne. Gary then gives him a reality check, reminding him that he’s now married to Janine. Speaking of, Janine strives to explain things to her daughter and make her understand why she had made her live a lie.
When Audrey asks who her real father is, Janine admits that it’s Dale. She then pleads for her forgiveness. Albert is taken by surprise to learn that Yvonne had turned in her resignation letter. His friend insinuates that it could be because of how Janine had humiliated her the other day at work but Albert thinks there’s some other reason behind it.
Meanwhile, Janine tells Audrey of the story of her conception and promises to never leave her. Audrey relates with her, saying that it’s okay if she doesn’t have a daddy as long as she doesn’t lose her.
