Janine Has Dale Arrested & Humiliates Yvonne. Victor Rejects Janine. An Enraged Dale Targets Victor & Runs Him Over, Triggering His Memories With Janine.
Yvonne makes it pretty clear that they would be living together not as a couple but for their son’s wellbeing. Victor understands and thanks her for giving him the chance to be close to Marcus. Dale hangs out with his buddies at a bar and he gets pretty drunk and begins ranting nonstop about his situation. Some guys find this annoying and they warn him to quit making a scene and that leads to a fight.
Janine cooks up a scheme against Dale and she has him arrested in order to ensure that he doesn’t cause any more trouble between her and her daughter. Carla makes a futile attempt to talk some sense into her best friend. Victor returns home to take care of his son and when Marlon comes to learn of this, he blows a fuse and rants nonstop.
Yvonne drags him outside to reason with him but he refuses to listen and decides to leave the house, not wanting to stay in the same house with Victor. Dale receives a visit from his mother who lectures him on how he had lied to her. Sandra goes on to threaten to let him rot in jail if he insists on his foolishness to chase after Janine.
Marlon proceeds to pack up his things and leave the house much to Carmen’s dismay. In the meantime, Mrs. Gopez confronts Janine at her place and threatens to make her pay for ruining her son’s life. An altercation ensues and Carla comes to back up her shameless friend.
Later, Janine goes to Doris’ house to see her husband and once she learns that he had gone back to Yvonne’s, she decides to head over to her workplace and make a scene. After some exchange of words, she pours some food on Yvonne and Albert holds her back from retaliating and chases Janine away. Upon arrival home, Janine resumes her madness by wrecking her own things.
Victor gets pretty upset to learn of how Janine had humiliated Yvonne at work. On this note, he goes to her house to confront her. Janine whines like the brat that she is and insists that Victor should own up to his responsibility as her husband and Audrey’s father.
Victor gives her a piece of his mind and vows to file for annulment. Janine then throws herself at him and pleads miserably for him to come back to her. Victor ignores her tantrum and threatens to deal with her if she ever hurts Yvonne again.
The next morning, Janine seeks her lawyer’s counsel and refuses to let Victor leave her for Yvonne. In the meantime, Yvonne is given an earful by a superior at work on account of the scandal that had happened at the office yesterday. She risks facing suspension and when Albert speaks up for her, she’s left off the hook with a warning.
Yvonne decides to crash Janine’s open house in the company of Mimi and Shakira and she makes deliberate attempts to taunt and mock her with Victor. Sandra bails her son out of jail and urges that they go back to the states. However, Dale insists on pursuing Janine and having a life with her and their daughter and Sandra threatens to strip him of everything in his name.
Yvonne leaves Janine’s with her friends and she goes on about how she would make her rival feel all the pain she has caused her. Later that night, Janine shows up at the Aguiluz residence to demand for the return of her husband. After Yvonne taunts her for a while, she proceeds to go and bring Victor out to see her.
Victor bluntly tells Janine to stay away because he wants nothing to do with her. He then goes back inside to have dinner with Yvonne and their son and Janine observes miserably from the outside. The next morning, Victor heads into town to get some medicine for his son.
Dale spies nearby as Victor talks on phone with his son. In a fit of rage, Dale runs Victor over and speeds off. At home, Marcus gets pretty worked up when he fails to reach his father on phone any longer. Meanwhile, the incident earlier triggers Victor’s memories with Janine.
