Carlos Gambles Away All His Inheritance. Gabriel Bonds With His Father. Isabel Becomes Pregnant & Makes A Tough Decision. Roman Reveals His Health Condition To Gabriel.
Bianca comes to see her husband at his office to see how he’s doing. She then urges him to try to go out with his father and bond with him. Rigor comes to see Carlos at his new luxurious place and they both drink together gladly. A moment later, they go out to a bar to have some more fun and Isabel fails to reach Carlos on phone.
When Roman returns to the office, Gabriel suggests that they go on a vacation so he can rest for a little while away from work. Roman agrees to it and thanks him. Isabel finds Carlos wasted at his new house and she reprimands him over how he’s wasting his money.
Carlos makes light of everything and blabbers about his great luck in gambling. At home, Gabriel has a talk with his grandma and wife about his father and they urge him to warm up to him and teach him the simple joys of life.
Carlos loses the first round playing poker at the casino and against better judgment, he decides to put in more of his money in an attempt to regain what he had lost. And then some. Steph shows concern for her sister as she makes ready to step out into the outpouring rain to go and check up on Carlos.
Isabel is amazed with her goodwill in spite of everything she’s done to her. Back at the casino, Carlos continues to play poker and he loses yet again and becomes even more miserable. While Grandpa Ben informs Bianca about the new update with her mother’s case, Gabriel goes out with Roman for some bonding.
At a golf course somewhere, Roman teaches his son how to play golf. In the meantime, Carlos buys a drink for some girl at the bar and begins hitting on her. The boyfriend shows up to confront him and that leads to a fight which Rigor comes to back up.
At the police station, the bar owner compels Carlos to pay for the damages that had been caused earlier. Roman dines with Gabriel at a restaurant and they bond some more as he tells stories of Gabriel’s late mother. Carlos returns to the casino to gamble again and he loses this time too and becomes so pitiful.
Roman also returns home with his son and comes clean to him about his health condition. Gabriel can’t help but to worry about what’s to come and Roman assures him that he would seek treatment. Carlos comes to see Isabel in her room to tell her of the trouble he’s in.
Isabel is shocked to learn of how he had gambled away all his money and even owes the casino ten million. Carlos desperately pleads for her to help him out before those people come for him. Gabriel informs his wife of his father’s sickness and has her agree to move back to the mansion to go and stay with him.
Roman is admitted at the hospital and Dr. Reyes shows up with his team to take him for some testing. It is concluded that he has a heart problem so his operation is rescheduled. Isabel goes out of her way to pawn her house for the 10 million Carlos needs.
She later goes to see him at his house, only to find him in bed with some random woman. Roman appoints Gabriel to take charge of the company while he’s recuperating at the hospital. Isabel is all the more devastated when she discovers that she’s pregnant.
Carlos soon gets wind of this and when he goes to see her, she lashes out at him and chases him out of her house. The next morning, Isabel leaves with her sister for the airport and Carlos catches up with her and desperately pleads with her to give him another chance and she eventually gives in.
While Gabriel temporarily takes over the running of TigerShark in the absence of Carlos and Isabel, Roman remains determined to take up the investigation into Victoria’s death and focus on Rigor.
