Janine Makes It Her Mission To Ruin Yvonne & Get Victor Back At All Cost. Dale Discovers The Truth. Yvonne Is Compelled To Make A Tough Decision For Her Son’s Sake.
Yvonne hangs out with Albert at a restaurant and blabbers nonstop about how Janine makes her blood boil. Albert makes mention of Dale as an old friend and his intention to get back together with Janine and their daughter.
At home, Janine whines about how Yvonne has been trying to steal her husband and Carla indulges her as she goes on about how she would never back down but do everything in her power to get Victor back; she would crush her to the ground if she has to.
In the meantime, Yvonne assures her mother that she hadn’t really meant the threatening words she had said to Janine; she had only said that out of anger because she had hurt her. Her only priority is her family – Carmen and Marcus. However, Yvonne also declares that she wouldn’t back down the next time she encounters Janine. Speaking of, Janine is compelled to take up a business deal with Kenjie.
Albert calls Yvonne on phone to tell her about a huge investment policy deal that could guarantee her promotion if she’s able to close it. Later that morning, Marcus asks to have his father in attendance for their school’s Boy Scout ceremony and Yvonne assures him that she would be there for him instead.
Janine tolerates Kenjie and his silly antics but she eventually leaves his room in misery after he pulls another childish prank. Football star Kenjie goes after her to apologize and make peace with her. Eventually, Janine agrees to be friends with him and to make it up to her, he offers her some help to get a business investment.
Marcus talks on phone to his father about his upcoming school event and he tries in vain to get him to reconcile with his mother so their family could be whole again. Victor strives to make him understand the situation they’re in.Yvonne drops off her son at school and promises to come back and support him once she’s done with some work.
Once at Vance Insurance, she receives goodwill from her coworkers and boss to close the deal she’s been assigned with. Upon arriving at the location, Yvonne runs into Janine and they have another unfriendly altercation. In no time, Janine puts her witchcraft to good use by trying to discredit and ruin Yvonne’s company to the client so that she doesn’t get the deal.
Sure enough, the deal doesn’t go through and leaves Yvonne miserable. She fails to make it in time for her son’s Boy Scout ceremony. In the outpouring rain, Marcus cries his heart out over the disappointment and Yvonne apologizes to him profusely and they eventually reconcile.
While Janine celebrates the success of her business investment deal with her coworkers, Dale goes with some officers to the DNA testing facility to investigate and he’s surprised to learn of how Janine had bribed the head of the clinic to falsify test result.Janine goes to Doris’ house to have a talk with her husband and urge him to take responsibility for their children.
Victor puts her in her place, saying that he’s not the father of Audrey or her unborn child. Knowing no shame, Janine tries to fool him with the fake DNA test result, insisting that he’s Audrey’s father. Marcus falls ill with an unforgiving fever in the middle of the night and Yvonne quickly takes him to the hospital.
After he’s brought home to recuperate later, Yvonne resolves to have Victor come over and he takes good care of Marcus to ensure his recovery. Yvonne silently observes and begins to realize that she alone isn’t enough for their son. Janine comes to pick up her daughter at school and she blows a fuse when she sees her in the company of Dale.
She causes a scene and upon arrival home, Audrey asks why she had fought with “Big Daddy” who’s always been nice to her. Janine justifies her actions and spanks her daughter when she blames her for her father’s absence. Meanwhile, Yvonne decides to let Victor come and stay at the house for the wellbeing of their son.
