“I can file a case against you anytime I want. So you better think twice before threatening me. Adjust that mask of yours. Because if something bad happens to us, the main suspects will be you and Hector. Nobody else.”
Romina’s attorney presented to the judge a DNA test that proved Robert to be Cassie’s biological father. Romina then took the stand and debunked Robert’s attorney’s misstatements. “Räpë is räpë. For seventeen years, I’ve been trying to find the culprit behind my räpë. And it turned out to be Robert Mondragon.”
The bailiff pronounced Robert guilty of the crime of räpë, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. After the hearing, Daniela traded words and threats with Romina. “I can file a case against you anytime I want,’ Romina hissed. “So you better think twice before threatening me.”
Daniela met up with Hector, ranting nonstop about Romina getting everything once the annulment was finalized. After throwing jabs at each other, Hector tried talking Danny girl into k!lling Romina herself so she could solve both their problems. While Robert was being welcomed to prison, Hector gave Daniela some poisøn. Daniela walked into the restaurant and managed to ‘spice’ Romina’s juice with it. Danny girl then noticed a CCTV camera in operation.
After Mina was served her drink, she went over to cause a scene, eventually spilling the pøisoñed drink deliberately as Romina was reaching for it. A moment later outside the restaurant, Romina spotted Daniela getting into Hector’s car.
Romina ran into Hector at the hotel they were staying at.
As she tried having her bodyguards kick him out, the great evil showed her proof that he had also checked in. A battle of words ensued, with Hector making mockery of her. Mikoy snubbed Marga as she approached him for a group project. Annoyed, Marga resorted to joining some other guys while dissing Mikoy in the process, even insisting that they go out together.
Cassie had a talk with Kristoff about how she could move on from her parents’ separation. A moment later, the Mondragons found their car’s tyre punctured and as they wondered who had done the deed, Hector came over to dish out another mockery. Bernard came to offer Mina and the others a ride home.
“I’ve sent you to jail before,” Mina taunted. “And I won’t hesitate to send you back again.”
“Be careful,” Hector shot back. “Next time, something else might puncture.”
“If something bad happens to us, no one else will pay for it but you.”
Bernard told Robert about how Hector had been harassing Romina and his family. A moment later, Robert overheard some inmates planning a riot to break out of jail. He confronted them and they told him to mind his own business. Daniela and Alvin had some transaction with a client. Danny girl managed to steal some of the money when Alvin wasn’t looking.
Meanwhile in prison, an inmate started a riot by stabbing another. Refusing to mind his own business, Robert stopped some jailbirds from escaping. The Mondragons moved out to another house Leon had recommended. Neil went on about how he missed them being together in happiness and peace.
“Cut the drama,” Mina teased as they all settled into a group hug.
Hector’s right-hand man had double-checked the money Daniela and Alvin had brought in and found some missing. Hector questioned them about it, and they began throwing accusations at each other. Later, Alvin caught Daniela with the stolen money. Danny girl tried to talk him into making a deal, but Alvin was determined to expose her to his brother. In prison, the gang confronted Robert for foiling their escape plan. Robert said he wasn’t afraid of them.
One of them stabbed him and left him for dead. Romina and Daniela found out about what had befallen Robert. Meanwhile, Alvin told his brother about Daniela stealing from him, insinuating that she was probably going to use the money to help her dad get out of jail. Hector called to learn of the incident at the prison and Robert being admitted at the hospital.
Romina went with Cassie to see Robert at the hospital. They met Daniela there, who started throwing a fit before leaving. Meanwhile, Alvin was bugging his brother with the same ‘Daniela can’t be trusted’ talk. “Shut up,” Hector snapped. Quit yapping. I need to think.”
Robert told Romina about how he had found out about Hector harassing her. He urged her to keep her guard up. Mina said Hector wasn’t the one they had to be weary of. “Who else?” Robert asked.
“Your ever-relying daughter, Daniela.”
“Why?”
“I have a strong hunch that Daniela and Hector are teaming up to take me down. You know the saying, right? Birds of a feather?”
Later that night after basketball practice, Kristoff caught Mikoy setting up a makeshift bed in the locker room. He asked him about it and Mikoy admitted that he had been sleeping there for a while now since he didn’t have anywhere else to go. Kristoff warned him that he could get into trouble if the school found out. Mikoy promised to find a place to stay.
Hector gave his daughter some money for her upcoming birthday party, urging her to invite everyone – all of her classmates. Meanwhile, Robert questioned Daniela over her working with Hector. Danny girl played dumb. Robert tried talking some sense into her. Later, Daniela confronted Romina over ruining her in her dad’s eyes.
“Adjust that mask of yours,” Mina taunted. “Because if something bad happens to us, the main suspects will be you and Hector. Nobody else.”
