Dale’s Madness Traumatizes Audrey. Janine Confesses The Truth To Her Daughter. Victor Remembers Janine But Chooses Yvonne Over Her. Janine Becomes Resentful After Losing Her Baby.
Janine makes it her mission to ruin Yvonne and get her husband back at all cost. Yvonne on the other hand decides to prioritize her family’s wellbeing, though she makes a solemn vow not to back down the next time she encounters her rival.
While Janine is compelled to agree to a business deal with Kenjie the football star, Yvonne gets the opportunity to close a huge investment deal that could guarantee her promotion. She runs into Janine at the location and another unfriendly encounter ensues. Determined to make her rival miserable, Janine ruins Yvonne’s chances of attaining the investment deal.
Dale heads to the DNA testing facility with some policemen and he soon discovers the truth about Janine’s blackmail and manipulation. Marcus becomes devastated when his mother fails to honor her promise to show up for his school’s Boy Scout ceremony; Yvonne strives to make amends and make it up to her son.
Janine’s desperate attempt to make Victor take responsibility for her and their children doesn’t go so well. When Marcus is taken ill with a fever, Yvonne decides to have Victor come over to take care of him and nurse him back to health. Janine cooks up a scheme to have Dale arrested and ensure that he doesn’t cause any more problems between her and her daughter.
Marlon blows a fuse and leaves home when he learns of Yvonne’s decision to let Victor stay at the house for Marcus’ sake. Upon learning of her husband’s whereabouts, Janine storms the office of the insurance company, confronts Yvonne and humiliates her publicly.
Victor soon learns of this and goes to confront her at her house with a vengeance. Yvonne risks getting a suspension at work and Albert comes through for her. In retaliation, she crushes Janine’s open house to pay her back in kind.Sandra confronts Janine for ruining her son’s life and proceeds to bail him out of jail.
In spite of everything, Dale refuses to give up Janine and their daughter. While Victor heads into town to get some medicine for his son, a resentful Dale runs him over with his car, triggering some memories with Janine. Audrey becomes traumatized following Dale’s display of madness and Janine comes to her rescue and reaches out to Victor for help.
Victor resolves to do his best to nurse the little girl back to health, all the while covering up the fact that he’s regained majority of his memories. To celebrate Victor’s birthday, Yvonne decides to go with him and their son for an outing. As Audrey years for her “father”, Janine dramatically admits the terrible truth to her and seeks her forgiveness.
Albert makes a last ditch attempt to convince Yvonne to reconsider her resignation from the insurance company. Victor tells his family about the good news and Gary stops his gossiping mother from alerting Janine; Janine begins to get restless on account of how strange her husband has been behaving of late.
Victor spends some quality time with Yvonne and Marcus on his birthday; he comes clean to Yvonne and strives to talk her into getting back together. Yvonne then gives him a reality check. In the meantime, Janine prepares a birthday feast and waits in vain for her husband to show up.
Victor cuts ties with her to prove himself to Yvonne and Janine makes a solemn to fight for her rights as a wife; she would go to any lengths to ensure that Yvonne doesn’t get Victor back. After an unfortunate incident leads to the miscarriage of her unborn baby, Janine becomes resentful of both Victor and Yvonne and decides to make them as miserable as she is.
