Gabriel Beats Up Carlos For Bianca. Roman Is Diagnosed With A Brain Tumor. Carlos Weds Isabel, Gambles Away His Inheritance & Ruins Gabriel.
Carlos becomes miserable with Gabriel’s good fortune with his newly wedded wife. Rigor shows up unannounced and uninvited following a family dinner at the Viloria residence so Gabriel resolves to move out with his family.
Now all alone, Rigor loses his means of livelihood and strives to survive with his usual rotten attitude and personality. He causes further trouble at the Agbayani residence, compelling Gabriel to move again with his family – this time to stay at his father’s mansion.
Carlos and Isabel both throw fits when they come to learn of this. Grandma Lydia naively hopes to get through to her real miserable grandson and make him come to terms with everything. Bianca is taken by surprise when Carlos extends a friendly hand and proposes that they make peace. Gabriel also suspects that he’s up to no good as usual.
Roman reprimands Carlos for losing the second place in the brand rankings and Lydia gets much more than she bargained for when she tries to put in a good word for him. Her goodwill earns her Roman’s wrath.
Carlos decides to peep at Bianca after she’s just had her bath and when he’s caught, Gabriel resolves to fight him to protect his wife’s honor. After Roman’s attempts to settle the issue goes nowhere, he kicks Carlos out of the mansion. An embittered Carlos decides to seek employment elsewhere. Rigor stirs up trouble again as he sneaks into the Dela Vega mansion to see his mother.
The ensuing altercation leaves Gabriel with no choice but to move out of the mansion. After receiving his 100 million inheritance, Carlos plays poker with it and manages to win some more money. Roman appoints Gabriel to attend to his meetings while he goes to the hospital for a checkup.
Gabriel begins to bond with his father and makes it a point to show him the simple joys of life. Greed for more, Carlos continues to gamble away his inheritance to the point where he owes the casino. After Roman is diagnosed with a brain tumor, Carlos takes advantage to return to the mansion with the sole purpose of taking everything from Gabriel.
He proposes to Isabel when he finds out that she’s pregnant with his child and about to leave the country. While they’re busy with their marriage, Roman turns over the leadership of DV Group of Companies to Gabriel.
In Carlos’ desperation to address the situation, he runs into trouble with the people he owes at the casino, compelling Isabel to pawn off her house. Roman reopens the investigation into Victoria’s death. Carlos resolves to put up with Gabriel as he works at his ultimate agenda.
Isabel picks a fight with Bianca when she tries to be civil with Steph. Grandma Lydia soon has an experience of her rotten soul. Carlos and Gabriel both gain nominations for the Most Successful Gentlemen of the year. Olsen and Simeon continue to compete for Marilyn’s attention and affection.
Carlos comes up with a cunning marketing strategy which he strives to make Gabriel accept. He later hangs out with Rigor at a bar somewhere and ends up in jail after assaulting a woman. Left with no option, he reaches out to his grandma for help and Gabriel and Bianca resolve to settle the matter.
Roman confronts the Milton employee in the custody of the police about the person who had really k!lled Victoria and after leading him on, the scumbag decides to blackmail Rigor for his silence. Having no shame, Carlos cooks up a despicable scheme to ruin Laban and Gabriel’s reputation.
