“Demolish this house right now. I still hold the deed to the entire property. Stay where you are. Pack up their things. I’m taking this house back. This mansion is just another thing adding to the problems we keep going back to. It’s time to tear it down.”
Cassie discussed with Kristoff the situation with her dad, hoping that things would soon settle down. Kristoff suggested that she attend the hearing but Cassie was undecided. Meanwhile, Robert’s attorney suggested that he plead not guilty so he could be with his family, lest he be powerless if something bad happened to them. Robert reminded him that he already had a sworn statement.
“Plead not guilty,” the attorney urged. “Let me take care of the rest.”
Bernard then went on about how Hector was still messing with his family, adding that Leon was back in the company and working with Romina. Romina stormed the mansion to find that Daniela was still selling more of their stuff. A construction crew followed. “Demolish this house right now,” she ordered.
“You can’t do that,” Daniela argued.
“Why not? They’re just following orders from the mansion’s real owner. I still hold the deed to the entire property.” Romina shoved Daniela back and grabbed a sledgehammer as she tried stopping the crew. “Stay where you are.”
Nanny Esther came over with Marga in tow. “What’s going on here?”
“Pack up their things, Nanny. I’m taking this house back.”
“Are you kicking us out?” Marga asked.
“Yes. And it’s all your mother’s fault. She tried to sell this house and all of my belongings without even consulting me.”
Danny girl played dumb, and yet Mina didn’t seem to buy her act. “This mansion is just another thing adding to the problems we keep going back to. It’s time to tear it down.”
Romina ordered the crew to begin wrecking the place, to hell with Danny girl’s tantrums. At Camila, Romina told Leon of her adventures at the mansion earlier, vowing not to let Daniela get away with her crimes. Leon worried that Danny girl would keep coming after her on account of that. Mina was indifferent. “Then let her come. She only has to make one mistake, and I’ll be able to catch her.”
Bratty daughter confronted Cassie over what her mom had done. Sadly for some, I wasn’t interested in listening to anymore bickerings. Mikoy later called her up on her rotten attitude. The miserable one-eyed-old man spotted him hugging his granddaughter. The miserable swine actually punched him, dragged him away and kicked him out of his equally miserable house.
Romina discussed her case with her attorney who was preparing for the possible arguments the other camp could raise, particularly that what had happened to her was consensual. Mina said Robert wouldn’t have spent so long hiding the fact that Cassie was his daughter if what had happened was consensual. “I wish he had admitted what he did from the start.”
Mikoy was at the bus terminal when Marga actually came with her stuff, packed and ready to leave with him. Mikoy said she was just making things worse with what she was doing. He asked her to fix things with her family first if she really loved him. She however got upset. Carlos walked in on the scene and she asked what he was doing there.
“I called your father,” Mikoy revealed. “Go home.”
Cassie tried convincing her mom into going along with her to the hearing so she could support her. Meanwhile, camp Robert, with Bernard included, urged Robert to fight for his freedom. Hector the great evil was excitedly planning on going after Romina when she least expected it, and then send Robert a gift – his wife’s head.
Meanwhile, Robert looked on in disbelief when Leon came to the courtroom to offer his support to Romina. Kristoff and co prepped up Cassie for what was to come. The bailiff read out the charges filed against Robert and the judge asked what his plea was. Robert took his sweet time glancing at Romina, and then Daniela.
“Not guilty, your honor,” Robert declared, much to the shock and disbelief of almost everyone. Danny was gloating.
The judge then adjourned the session, and Romina confronted Robert and vowed to never forgive him. “Some husband and father you turned out to be!” she hissed. “You selfish b*stard!”
“I can’t stay behind bars, because I have to save you and Daniela from Hector.”
“You’re no different from him!”
Romina apologized to her daughter for everything she had seen and promised to make it up to her once it was all over. Cassie told her to do what she thought was right. Mina turned to her attorney. “Since Robert doesn’t have any regrets about what he did to me, I want to file for annulment too.”
The shock hadn’t fully registered on Cassie’s face as the attorney said she’d easily get the annulment if the court found Robert guilty of rāpiñg her. Cassie was sobbing silently as she penned a letter to her dad, asking why he had to go and hurt her mother again after fooling her all those years, yet claiming that he’d do anything for her to forgive him. “Now people are mad at her, even though she’s the victim.”
After sending a text message to Kristoff, Romina found Cassie crying and asked her not to worry about her, adding that she could get through the situation knowing that she was there for her. Kristoff told Cassie that his dad had already delivered her letter to her dad. Cassie thanked him and soon had a phone call from Robert, who told her that he had been so desperate to save his family, hence his lies and deception.
“I looked up to you. I always hoped I could be like you when I grow up one day…but now…”
“I know it’s difficult to understand my actions, but I promise to seek your forgiveness. And løvë you the way I know how.”
Robert’s attorney informed him that Romina was filing for annulment, adding that things would get worse if he got convicted. “That’s why you need to win this case,” Bernard urged. “Even if it means Romina hating you.”
Robert then asked the attorney to win the case. Meanwhile, Cassie was thinking over the fact that her dad would be locked away for a very long time if he was found guilty, and lose everything as well once her mom’s annulment was granted. “I know I should be angry at him,” Cassie began. “But do you know what I feel instead? I feel hurt.”
“Because you løvë him very much,” Romina said. “I feel the same way too. I hope you don’t think I’m doing this for my own benefit. I’m doing it for you too. For your future. Because I won’t allow them to take what is rightfully yours. That’s why I filed for annulment.”
