Yvonne Faces Off With Janine; Janine Desperately Tries To Get Her Husband Back. Victor Constantly Rejects Janine & Fights Albert. Dale Receives The DNA Test Result.
Doris lashes out at Janine for how her actions had affected her brother and Gary and his miserable mother come to her defense. When Sonia shows up, Janine apologizes for what she had done and dramatically laments and blabbers about how she would not let Victor’s ex-wife steal him from her.
While Yvonne seeks counsel and comfort from her mother in regards to her situation, Sonia updates Victor on the truth of everything that had happened with Yvonne and Janine and he begins to throw a fit, upset that they had lied to him and made him look like a fool.
Meanwhile, Yvonne encounters Janine somewhere in town and an altercation ensues. Janine threatens to file a concubinage case against Yvonne if she doesn’t stay away from her husband. Amused, Yvonne gloats and points out that Victor is the one who would end up in jail and not her.
She then puts her in her place and storms off.
Janine seeks her lawyer’s counsel on how to use legal means to get her husband back. During the next therapy session at the hospital, the doctor asks Victor to move back into Janine’s house now that he knows the truth.
However, Victor refuses to do that, saying that he only wants to go back home to Yvonne and Marcus. Marcus pesters his aunt Doris about wanting to go and see his father and she tries to calm him down. Janine brings Audrey along to visit Victor at home and he doesn’t push them away this time for the sake of the little girl.
Just then, Doris shows up with Marcus who emotionally reunites with his father. Victor asks for some privacy to talk to his son. Upon Marcus’ return home, he tells his mother about the dramatic, heartfelt conversation he had had with his father earlier. Janine continues to hinder Dale from seeing Audrey.
Dale states that he would soon have the DNA test results to prove his paternity and that when Audrey comes to learn the truth, they both know who she would choose between them. In no time, Janine makes a desperation move of going to blackmail the owner of the DNA testing facility to falsify the results.
She plans to use the pictures she has with Victor to prove how much they loved each and make him remember her. She soon pays him a visit at home but fails miserably to accomplish her agenda as Victor walks out on her and doesn’t even bother taking a look at the photos. Victor tries to go and see Yvonne at home but Marlon gets in his way and refuses him entry.
Later that night, Yvonne arrives home after work to find the family sketch Victor had made and left behind. Janine whines to Carla about how her husband had rejected her again and she reaches out to Albert and tries to convince him to work together so they can both get what they want.
Albert figures out her endgame, rejects her offer and gives her a piece of his mind.Sonia tries to convince her son to give Janine a chance but Victor strongly objects to the idea, stating that he would rather die than go back to her.
At Vance Insurance, Albert tries to talk to Yvonne about a personal matter but he has to postpone it for another time as he’s called to the board room at the moment. While Yvonne and her family enjoy dinner at home, Victor shows up and tries to go and talk to her. Albert becomes an obstacle in his way and an altercation begins and leads to a fight.
The commotion draws the attention of everyone and Yvonne scolds both men and chases them away angrily. The next morning at work, Albert apologizes to Yvonne and reveals the deal Janine had tried to make with him. Yvonne soon makes peace with him and he teases her as she apologizes for how she had treated him.
Victor wallows in misery over Yvonne’s rejection, stating that he would never choose Janine over her. Gary talks some sense into him and urges him to fully recover before he can really make a decision. Meanwhile, Dale receives the result of the DNA test and he gets pretty upset to see that the report is negative.
