Roman Buys Laban To Get Closer To Gabriel. Carlos Becomes Even More Desperate & Miserable. Rigor Is Shunned. Bianca Deals With Isabel, Double For Her Trouble.
Miss Susan questions Bianca about where her loyalties lie now that she’s the daughter-in-law of Roman Dela Vega. Bianca assures her that she would always do her job properly and with integrity. Susan then charges her to keep her word.
Meanwhile, Roman inquires about the Laban company and learns of how their sales had spiked up greatly after Gabriel started working for them. He then comes to know of the financial state of the company. At Laban, Gabriel is told that production has stopped for some time now because there’s little supplies to work with.
The landlady nags Rigor for her money and he merely asks her to wait for a while as he’s expecting some money from his son. Upon learning that his real son is the secret of Laban’s success, Roman calls him on phone to commend him. Carlos witnesses the scene and looks on in disbelief.
As usual, he goes to whine to Isabel and blabbers on and on about how he would ruin Gabriel and make him a loser in Roman’s eyes. Gabriel goes to see the boss to ask him about why production had to be stopped and he’s told about Laban’s financial situation.
Roman meets up with Mr. Mariano the big boss of Laban to make a proposition to him to sell the company to him. When the guy strongly refuses to sell, Roman makes it a point to convince him to agree to a merger.
Mr. Mariano asks why he’s so interested in Laban and Roman states that they have something he wants – his son Gabriel who’s a major asset. In the meantime, Carlos meets with his team and compels them to work at a solution to increase the sales of TigerShark.
Gabriel returns to Laban to learn of the soon-to-be merger between Dela Vega Group and Laban. Rigor shamelessly goes to see his mother to ask her to borrow him some money to pay his house rent and the old woman puts him in his place. The scumbag runs into Bianca on his way out and he begins to harass her.
Bianca rewards Rigor with a slap and Olsen and the others come to chase him away. Olsen considers telling Gabriel about what just happened but Bianca talks him out of it. In the meantime, Roman makes it a point to convince Gabriel to accept the VP for sales position after the merger is completed.
Carlos is excited to learn that TigerShark has now booted Laban out of the second position in the rankings. At home, Chuchay and the others deliberate on whether or not to tell Gabriel about the incident earlier with Rigor. Gabriel soon arrives and informs them of how Roman had bought Laban.
Bianca urges him to warm up to his father and Grandma Lydia seconds her. Carlos excitedly informs Roman about TigerShark being in second place. He then asks of the confidential meeting he had attended earlier in the day and Roman merely tells him that he would know tomorrow.
The next morning, Bianca helps Gabriel to get settled in at Dela Vega Group and she runs into Carlos and Isabel on her way out. Carlos confronts Gabriel in his new office and he taunts him with the situation.
Rigor goes to the company to see Carlos but he’s deliberately stopped by the security guard. The landlady eventually locks him out of the house. Gabriel makes a presentation to the big shots of the company on how to revive Laban and make it the most established brand.
Mr. Mariano commends his gift for business and Roman shows how proud he is of his son. Carlos is delighted to learn that TigerShark has been nominated for the Consumer Choice Awards. However, he gets pretty upset when it’s noted that Laban had also received a nomination.
Later, Roman helps Gabriel to wear a suit and encourages him to call him “dad”. In no time, the awarding event is held and Carlos becomes frustrated when Laban is announced as the winner. Roman gladly congratulates Gabriel and later gives him a card and manages to convince him to visit the place with his wife.
A moment later, the Viloria couple arrive at the location, only to be surprised by a celebratory party Roman had organized. They’re then introduced to some of the officers in the company, making Carlos even more miserable. Grandma Lydia shows up with the rest of the gang to celebrate with her grandson.
Isabel catches Carlos talking sanely with Bianca and in no time, she later confronts her at her workplace and picks a fight with her. A catfight ensues and Bianca eventually dominates Isabel. Miss Susan shows up and chases her away. Bianca resolves to resign from the accounting firm to avoid further trouble from Isabel.
