Dale Tries To Get Closer To Audrey; Janine Frustrates His Efforts. Victor Fights Albert Over Yvonne. Janine Spitefully Reveals The Terrible Truth To Victor.
Dale hangs out with his buddy Carlo at a bar and blabbers about his intention to get back together with Janine by proving that he’s indeed the father of her daughter. The next morning, he goes to see Audrey bearing some gifts for her and he subtly takes a strand of her hair, probably for DNA testing.
Once Janine spots him, she hurries out with Carla who ushers Audrey back inside the house while Janine deals with Dale and refuses to acknowledge that he’s her daughter’s father. On this note, Dale vows to prove his paternity and fight for his right as a father.
Janine meets up with Yvonne and pleads with her to return her husband to her because her daughter Audrey needs him. Yvonne argues that Marcus her son also needs his father. A few choice words are exchanged between both women.
At Vance Insurance, Yvonne reflects on the journal entry Victor had written about Janine’s ki$$ and as she breaks down, Albert consoles her.Yvonne returns home after work to find the dishes Victor had prepared for her for dinner. She treats him with reservation and doesn’t even take a bite but heads upstairs to check up on her son.
The next morning, Victor consults Marcus on the kind of flowers to give his mother to get her to warm up to him. Upon Yvonne’s arrival at work, Albert shows off a pretty dramatic display of løvë with the assistance of a couple of his subordinates and as he proceeds to bare his feelings to Yvonne, Victor comes upon the scene and gets upset.
He goes at Albert and a fight breaks out. Later, he confronts his supposed wife and asks if she’s cheating on him. Yvonne then brings up his ki$$ with Janine and proposes that they split up for the good of them both.
Victor’s attempts to convince her otherwise falls on deaf ears so he’s compelled to pack up his stuff and leave the house for his mother’s place. Marcus is pretty devastated with his father’s departure. Carla spies on Dale as he heads for a DNA testing facility. Yvonne strives to make her son understand their situation in regards to the arrangement she had made with Janine.
Still, Marcus can’t help but to lament over how their family seems to have broken apart again. Yvonne hangs out with Albert somewhere and he apologizes for the fight with Victor at the office the other day. Yvonne makes note of her breakup with Victor and begins to wonder whether she had done the right thing.
After she’s dropped off at home, Victor approaches her yet again and strives to convince her to get back together and fix their issues. However, Yvonne doesn’t give him face. In spite of Carla’s misgivings, Janine continues to hold on to the hope that Victor would eventually remember her and come back to her.
Daria runs her big mouth to Janine and tells her about Yvonne’s breakup with Victor.Janine learns of where Victor is currently staying and she assures her daughter that she would do her best to bring her “father” back home so their family can be complete again.
Yvonne has a talk with her mother about her difficult situation with her son and Carmen lectures her and points out the fact that she and Victor both have to fulfill their parental responsibilities to their son. On this note, Yvonne resolves to reconcile with Victor and bring him back home for the sake of their son.
Janine shows up at Gary’s house to see Victor and Doris ushers her in and leaves to go and fetch her brother. Once she sees a particular journal entry of Victor, Janine gets shocked. In the meantime, Yvonne talks to Victor outside about how their son has been suffering with his absence and he assures her his help.
As he consoles her, Janine shows up and begins making a scene, drawing the attention of everyone. She slaps Yvonne and reveals to Victor that she’s his real wife. The revelation begins to take a toll on Victor and after Yvonne leaves, Janine pleads with Victor to come back to her. However, Victor declares that Yvonne is the only woman who has her heart.
