Albert has a talk with his buddy Charlie about his feelings for Yvonne. They soon meet up with Dale and a friend of his to talk about being business partners. Dale begins blabbering about his search for a woman who’s important to him. A moment later, he reaches out to aunt Vida who greets him with a slap for abandoning her niece.
Dale apologizes profusely and strives to make her understand his situation. The next morning, he meets up again with Albert and Charlie to talk about their business partnership. Marcus talks to his grandma about the arrangement his mother had made with Janine and hopes that his father gets to stay with them longer.
Meanwhile, Dale reaches out to Vida again and he’s shocked when she reveals that he is the father of Janine’s daughter. Vida then recounts how Janine had made a mess of her life and that of her daughter’s by falling for a married man. Dale declares that he’s ready to make amends for his shortcomings.
Later that night, he chances upon Audrey while she’s playing outside and has a dramatic conversation with her, introducing himself as a friend of her mother’s. Later, they meet up with a client to sell some proposal and the guy has nothing better to do but to whine like a little bratty girl and belittle Yvonne.
Of course Albert comes to her defense and that leads to him losing the scoundrel as a client. Yvonne later apologizes for the trouble but Albert doesn’t mind and would always be there for her no matter what. Yvonne returns home after work and she’s delighted by a ridiculous dance Marcus and his father perform for her.
Yvonne is made to dance with Victor and seems to enjoy it pretty well. Marcus is all smiles as he observes. Later that night while everyone is asleep, Yvonne goes through Victor’s memory book and she’s devastated to learn of how Janine had ki$$ed him and how he had been affected.
The next morning, she laments to her friends about the matter and they try to cheer her up. Janine tells Carla about Dale’s visit and resolves to keep her daughter from knowing the truth so she wouldn’t lose her. She’s invited Victor over for a supposed business meeting and plans to tell him the truth and make him return home.
Carla disapproves of this but Janine is determined to see her agenda through and even prepares some favorite dishes of her husband. Soon enough, Victor shows up and ruins her cheerful mood by stating that they need to stop their project and seeing each other because he doesn’t want to lose Yvonne his “wife”.
Janine woefully professes her løvë for him and pleads with him to choose her. However, Victor declares that he can only løvë Yvonne. As he leaves, Janine runs after him, all the while crying miserably as Dale observes nearby.
