Gabriel & Alex Finally Graduate; Gabriel Reunites Alex With Her Mother. Percy Stands By His Feelings. Lydia’s Condition Compels Gabriel To Return Home Sooner Than Expected.
Carlos and Isabel return to the office and when Roman asks what they’ve been up to, Isabel rats out Carlos, makes note of his recent fight and then rants nonstop about his obsession for Bianca. Having heard enough, Roman reprimands them both and demands that they stop fooling around and find ways to improve the company.
On that note, he kicks them out of his office. While Bianca expresses her appreciation to Sir Percy for standing up for her, Isabel has another bickering session with Carlos and threatens to expose all his dirty secrets to Mr. Dela Vega if he doesn’t stay away from Bianca.
Meanwhile, Alex finally finds her mother with Gabriel’s help and her excitement turns into evident disappointment when Filomena urges them to leave the house before her husband sees them, with the promise of explaining things later. Grandpa Ben comes to see Lydia at home to check up on her, bearing some fruits. Lydia charges everyone not to tell Gabriel of her condition (breathing difficulty) so as not to worry and distract him.
Gabriel strives to console Alex as she laments over the indifferent treatment. Alex states that they had met each other because they’re going through the very same thing. Mrs. Maricad shows up at the office for a visit and she gets pretty worked up to see the bruises on her son’s face.
She figures what had happened and begins lamenting. In no time, she has a talk with Bianca about the matter. Alex is pretty downcast as she believes that her dream of reuniting her family is ruined. Gabriel cheers her up and later goes to see Filomena by himself to talk to her.
He learns of her situation and urges her to make an effort to reconcile with her daughter. Carlos stalks Bianca again like a long-lost puppy and tries to get her to go out to dinner with him. Bianca puts the miserable guy in his place. Gabriel and Alex finally graduate from their training program.
Alex receives a pleasant surprise visit from her mother who apologizes for her shortcomings and asks for the chance to make it up to her and her sister.A dramatic reunion ensues between mother and daughter as Gabriel looks on gladly. Bianca visits Grandma Lydia at home, only for her to suffer from chest pains again. A moment later, she’s admitted at the hospital where she’s stabilized.
When Olsen asks what the problem is, the doctor states that Lydia has a clog in her heart and would be prescribed some medications. Alex celebrates her graduation and reunion with her mother and she strives to get Gabriel to join her. The moment gets ruined by a phone call which Gabriel receives.
It’s Bianca calling to notify him of his grandma’s condition and hospitalization. Gabriel states that he would be home soon. Bianca later tells Lydia about this when she regains consciousness. Lydia says she hopes she and Gabriel would make up and remain friends at least so she would be at peace in case anything happens to her.
Carlos treats Isabel with indifference when she tries to warm up to him. He then begins whining about how mad he is of Percy.Bianca talks to her boss on phone and updates him on everything going on with Gabriel’s grandma. While Gabriel hurriedly packs up his things for the next flight back home, Alex thanks him for everything he’s done for her.
She then professes her løvë for him, saying that she hopes they can be together if it’s really over between him and Bianca. Gabriel states that he can’t løvë her the way she løvës him and doesn’t want their friendship to be ruined. Alex cries her eyes out after he leaves for the airport.
While Ben keeps Lydia company at the hospital, Alex confides in her mother about her complicated situation/feelings for Gabriel. Mrs. Torres counsels and consoles her. Mrs. Maricad talks to her son about his very own complicated relationship with Bianca and Percy resolves to stand by his feelings for her.
Meanwhile, Gabriel finally arrives at the hospital in Manila and he goes to see his grandma to reunite and check up on her. Bianca shows up and they begin staring at each other. Derek taunts his cousin Isabel with Gabriel’s sudden return home. While Gabriel asks Bianca how she’s been doing, a phone call from Percy interferes and she leaves without giving him an answer.
