“You stood up for me, took care of me and Cassie. But you made us live a horrible lie. You didn’t try to stop me from løviñg you, even though you knew that eventually, I would find out the painful truth. You created a family. And then you were the one who tore us apart.”
Daniela found some employees talking about the issue with Robert and Romina. She claimed that Romina had seduced her father and used him to get out of poverty. She spouted some more crap I didn’t bother listening to as Romina walked in on the scene and put her in her place.
Romina overheard some employees gossiping about her, swearing not to believe that Robert was a räpïst, adding that she would only make a føøl of herself and lose the case if it went to court. Mina looked on in disbelief. A moment later, she stormed into her office. And who would follow? That’s right. The beloved Mr. Robert Mondragon.
Robert tried talking Romina into trying to fix their relationship for their daughter’s sake. Mina told him to admit to the things he had covered up and tell everyone how he had wronged her. Robert only spouted some crap and walked out. On account of Robert’s sassy attitude earlier, Romina decided to file a case against him despite how much she had løvëd him and not wanting Cassie to suffer.
Later, she informed Cassie of her decision, hoping that she’d accept and respect it. Cassie said she understood and would be there for her. Meanwhile, Robert was having a wine-drinking ‘session’ at the mansion in hopes of forgetting his problems.
At the precinct, Romina’s attorney lectured her on the difficulties of räpë victims testifying in court since they would have to relive the whole gruesome experience. Mina said she was ready. The chief came to announce that they had already filed a case against Robert and would invite him in for questioning. Robert had the luxury of arguing with Daniela over his intention to turn himself in for his crime.
The police came to serve him with an invitation to the precinct, saying that Romina was suing him for räpë. At the precinct, the chief asked Robert if he was Cassie’s biological father, and he eventually admitted to it. The chief then asked about ‘that night’ and Robert narrated how he had saved Romina from Alvin in his drunken state. “I managed to save Romina from Alvin, but she was still unconscious. That’s all I remember.”
Daniela tried talking her father into retracting his statement. Robert said he had done what he should have done long ago. A moment later, Robert had a talk with Romina, saying that everything he had done for her and Cassie was sincere. “But you ended up destroying it,” Mina said. “You stood up for me, took care of me and Cassie. But you made us live a horrible lie.”
“I’m ready to face the consequences of my actions. To give you peace of mind.”

Romina sobbed silently as Robert was being taken away. Some time later, Daniela argued with her for having her dad arrested. Meanwhile, some reporters, a.k.a the undisputed rats of the century hounded Cassie. As Kristoff and the the others held back the miserable gossips, Cassie couldn’t think of anything better to do than to hitch a ride with the squad who had been arrested with Marga for drunk-driving some time ago. Marga hailed a taxi and followed them.
In the van, Cassie saw an online post ridiculing her mom. The headline read : ‘Räpe Victim’ Married Räpïst. Cassie asked to get off so she could go home but they insisted that she join them for a party. Once at the rented house for the party, the squad tried talking Cassie into joining them in ‘having fun’. Daniela was planning on tarnishing Romina’s reputation so she could get her kicked out of her own company. Meanwhile, Marga traced the squad and found Cassie at the rented house, telling her that she was making things worse by drinking. Cassie said she hadn’t had a single drop.
“Then why did you go with them?”
“Maybe because I wanted to rebel,” Cassie sobbed. “But I couldn’t do it. That’s not who I am. Everything that has happened between my parents is part of who I am now.”
Romina and Neil were waiting up for Cassie, who arrived home late and apologized for it, saying that she had just wanted to escape from their problems even if it was for just a moment. Mina told her that they had to face their problems and not run from them.
“Is that why you’re doing this, ma? That the reason you’re doing this is cause you don’t løvë daddy anymore?”
“No. Løvë doesn’t fade so easily, but this is the right decision. If your father pays for his sins with time, the wounds he gave us will start healing, and we’ll be able to start anew.”
Daniela snapped at her daughter as she bombarded her with questions about her grandpa. She then called someone and demanded that they prevent her dad from being transferred to the city jail. Bernard tried talking Romina into fixing the situation but Mina wouldn’t hear any of it. Finding out about her dad’s transfer to the city jail, Cassie pleaded to have a talk with him. Mikoy kept Marga company at a restaurant as she wailed over her family’s problems. Meanwhile, some reporters hounded Robert, asking if the accusations against him was true. Robert remained silent, even as Romina arrived with her daughter.
Daniela signalled to a scumbag, who started making a scene. The miserable swine grabbed a stone and launched it at the Mondragons. Standing protectively in front of Cassie, Romina flinched as Robert jumped in to protect them, getting hurt in the process. Mikoy took Marga to a park, asking if she had ever played tag before. Marga said she’d rather spend her time on other stuff than tire herself out. Some kids came over and asked to play with them but she turned them down asked Mikoy that they leave. Out of the blue, Mikoy tagged her and dashed out of arm’s reach.
“Hey, Mikoy, let’s go.”
“You’re it,” Mikoy teased.
“Mikoy…”
Mikoy came over. “Okay, fine. I’ll let you tag me. I told you. I always got your back.”
“C’mon. Play with us,” one of the kids coaxed. “It’ll be fun.”
Marga beamed. Suddenly, she tagged Mikoy. “You’re it,” she said, running off. Mikoy gave chase, laughing along as they played. Neil was upset that some people were painting Robert as the victim just because he had helped them before. Romina told her brother to let the matter be. She soon had a phone call from Bonita about the board wanting to speak to her. Meanwhile at the city jail, Robert was escorted to his cell as the inmates jeered and welcomed him.
