Carla Cautions Janine Of Yvonne’s Capability. Marlon Takes Mimi Out. Dale Receives Updates On The Search For Janine; His Mother Tries To Sabotage The Investigation. Victor Rekindles His Relationship With Yvonne.
The episode begins with Albert awkwardly wishing Victor a happy new year and explaining why he’s there at the house. Shakira decides to take Mimi to the health resort and treat her to some spa treatment. Mimi blabbers about Marlon as usual and recounts the tough times he’s been through.
Gary has a talk with his wife about Victor’s troubling situation and Doris states that she hopes her brother doesn’t fully recover from his amnesia so he would totally forget about Janine and be reunited with his family. Mimi is excited to receive a phone call from Marlon and even more so when he asks that they meet up at an eatery/porridge house in the community to have breakfast together.
Of course she gladly agrees to and doesn’t mind Shakira’s teasing and disapproval. While Janine and her best friend Clara make ready to go somewhere, Dale’s private investigator spies and takes some photos. Meanwhile, Yvonne sadly reflects on some memories with her ex-husband and son and she gets pretty emotional.
Victor comes over and asks that they have a talk. He reminds her of the promise he had made her and their son and asks for a little more time to fulfill it. After Yvonne silently thinks about how she would have to give him away to his current wife when the appointed time comes, she treats Victor with indifference.
Janine eagerly looks forward to accompanying her husband to his therapy session which would be taking place today. In the meantime, Victor makes ready to leave for the hospital and Yvonne surprises him and her mother by offering to accompany him there. Marlon meets Mimi at the porridge house to have breakfast and they bond and have a really good time.
At the hospital, the doctor lectures Victor about his memory training and he states that he doesn’t need to remember any other thing because he already remembers his “wife” and son. Yvonne observes silently as the doctor commends her undying support of her “husband” and Victor adds to the compliments.
Mimi receives a phone call from Shakira and she informs him that she can no longer make it to the spa for their scheduled treatment because she’s with Marlon at the coffee shop. Shakira throws a fit and hangs up. When Marlon notices some two guys coming in, he subtly covers his face and literally drags Mimi out of the place.
Victor and Yvonne walk out of the hospital together and Janine spots them and becomes misëräble. Mimi interrogates Marlon and pesters him to tell her why he had been behaving strangely a while ago at the coffee shop. As she blabbers about how he might be cheating on her with another woman, Marlon shuts her up by suddenly ki$$ing her.
Janine returns home to inform her best friend about what she had witnessed earlier. Carla cautions her that she would be the one to suffer if Victor and Yvonne rekindle their relationship and get back together. Speaking of, Victor takes Yvonne to the spot where she had initially agreed to his proposal.
Yvonne gets pretty emotional as her “husband” recounts the good old days and time they had spent together. She then begins to warm up to him. Mimi tells Shakira of how Marlon had ki$$ed her and he lectures her on how she easily falls in løvë with just anyone.
The private investigator informs Dale about what he had found out about Janine. Upon Yvonne’s return home with Victor, Carmen commends the apparent change in their relationship. Yvonne admits to it but reminds her mother that she would have to give Victor over to his real wife after the three month period.
In the meantime, Sandra confronts Reuben (the private investigator) and tries to blackmail him to give her son false information about Janine so he doesn’t get to see her again. Speaking of, Carla urges Janine to bring Victor back to the house by revealing the truth to him that she’s his legal wife.
Janine worries about how his mind might not be able to process it. Carla cautions her that she might regret it when Yvonne seduces her husband. Meanwhile, Victor makes advances at Yvonne and that brings back memories of their past romance. This time, Yvonne doesn’t resist him and the episode concludes as they make out on the bed.
