Rumours of Albert Leave Help Nina
Yvonne Frustrates Victor & Janine.
Yvonne is urged by her coworkers to take a break from work like Sir Albert who has been on a week’s vacation with the lady friend (Daisy) who had dropped by the office to see him before. The girls insinuate that the boss has a løvë life and that changes Yvonne’s demeanor.
With the company’s anniversary party coming up, Yvonne resolves to get ready with the help of her friends and Albert later comes to pick her up at home, much to the delight of her family.
In no time, he escorts her to the ball and after lecturing her on some courteous manners, he proceeds to introduce her to the big shots at the event. Ultimately, Albert receives a phone call from Daisy and Yvonne is downcast on account of his use of diction.
Later at the office, she reflects on the incident and thinking that Albert might be in a relationship with Daisy, she decides to forget about him and move on.Albert approaches Yvonne and asks why she seems to be avoiding him and she covers up the truth of the matter.
Mimi and Shakira pester Yvonne to tell them about the details of what had gone down at the ball. They urge her to go in for Albert and Yvonne begins blabbering about how men aren’t faithful. Sonia and Carmen discuss about the situation of their children and they agree to guide them in the new chapter of their lives instead of forcing them to live the past.
Ironic enough, Victor surprises Yvonne with some flowers as soon as she steps out of the office and proposes that they go out for lunch. Claiming that she has a headache, Yvonne turns down the offer.
Later at home, Victor takes a look at the photo of himself, Janine and Audrey and suddenly, some memories with them hit him like a ton of bricks. In the meantime, Janine reads her daughter a bedtime story to cheer her up and put her to sleep.
Gary happens to see his wife in a compromising situation with a thesis mate of hers and he later confronts her and asks if the guy is the one responsible for her pregnancy. Doris gets pretty upset and begins hitting him.
When she laments and reveals that she’s not really pregnant, Gary laughs at that before confessing that he can never father a child. Yvonne gets questioned by her brother and son about why she hadn’t slept in the same room as her “husband” last night and Carmen comes to the rescue with a cover-up story.
Gary hangs out with Victor and Louie and recounts to them his ordeal with his wife last night. When Victor begins asking questions about Yvonne’s change in character as well as Janine and her daughter, the guys cover things up. Meanwhile, Janine dines together with Phoebe and she indulges her with her questions of her husband.
In the meantime, Yvonne talks to her friends about Albert’s lady friend and rumored girlfriend called Daisy. Yvonne gets pretty upset when Janine calls her on phone to ask her about the letter she had written to her before.Janine pleads for the chance to visit her husband at home with the promise that she would follow all of her conditions.
In spite of Carmen’s caution, Marlon mischievously lights up some firecrackers at home to celebrate the New Year and the blast triggers Victor’s memory again. Janine shows up just then and she gets excited when Victor mentions her name, thinking that he’s finally remembered her. False alarm.
Anyway, Yvonne arrives home and decides to play along and make a show of her “friendship” with Janine. On their way home, Shakira’s car develops a flat and Mimi gets into a fight with some kids after they talk down at her.
Marlon comes to the rescue and after some exchange of choice words with Mimi, he reluctantly decides to change the flat tire for them. Mimi ogles him and eventually invites him to join them for dinner. Meanwhile, Janine wraps up her visit at the Aguiluz house and after dining with the family, Victor ushers her into a taxi as Yvonne looks on grudgingly.
