Grandma Flora, Major Romero & Alyana Get Distressed With Cardo’s Condition. Hipolito Plots To Exploit His Allies. Lily Schemes To Win Over Oscar Completely. Cardo Cheats Death Yet Again.
The episode begins with Cardo being rushed to the hospital for treatment. On the phone, Major Basco updates General Dela Cruz about how the mission had gone; Dante’s escape as well as the more pressing matter of Cardo’s condition.
A moment later, Dela Cruz calls Delfin to inform him of the terrible news. In the meantime, some surgeons work on Cardo in the emergency room and they begin extracting the büllëts. Subconsciously, our favorite hero relives some memories with his wife and late son Ricky Boy.
Billy and a couple of the Agilas in the lobby worry about whether or not our favorite hero would be able to pull through. The doctor shows up to update them on the condition of the patient who happens to be in dire need of a blood transfusion.
Fortunately, Major Romero offers to donate some of her blood since she’s a universal donor. She proceeds to do just that and gets quite emotional upon learning that Cardo is still under observation and in critical condition.
Grandma Flora receives a phone call from Delfin who tells her of how her grandson had been rushed to the hospital after being wounded in the police operation. At the Palace, Secretary Oligario frustrates Lily’s efforts to see the president and the treacherous woman secretly considers getting rid of her if she continues to be an obstacle in her way.
Diana and Delfin tell Oscar about the situation on ground and he gives them the permission to head to the hospital to see how Cardo is doing. Psyçhø Dante hides from the police and blabbers about how he had finally avenged his brother’s death by k!lling our favorite.
How so wrong could he be? Anyway, Grandma Flora and Alyana arrive at the hospital with the others and as expected, they begin with their emotional drama, lamenting over what had happened as they behold the motionless body of Cardo through the window of the ICU.
Jacob comes to check up on Hipolito and gives him a güñ for protection. The doctor briefs Flora about her grandson’s condition and she desperately pleads for her to save him at all cost. As she continues to sob and lament, Delfin tries to encourage her, only for Alyana to add to the drama.
Believing that he’s gotten rid of Cardo, Dante plots to acquire more troops and allies to resume his reign of terror. Oscar talks to Lily on the phone about the loss of the two Agila girls and he gives her the permission to visit the Palace whenever she wants.
News of what had happened to Cardo comes on TV and Virgie gets all worked up and calls her daughter on the phone to ask her about it. Lily dines with Lazaro and whines about how Diana has been interfering with her plans. She plans to get Oscar away from the Palace and spend time with him without any distractions in order to fulfill her grand scheme.
In the meantime, Elizabeth recounts to Diana the times she had witnessed Lily’s outbursts of anger. Romero observes Cardo and she gets pretty emotional as she reflects on their friendship, all the while hoping for his survival.
Alyana arrives just then to greet Billy and the others before Basco introduces her to Romero. Both women stare at each other without words to say. Hipolito plots to use Jacob and his group for his personal agenda. Alyana goes to see her husband in the ICU where she displays another one of her dramas, urging him to wake up already and return to them.
On the phone, Delfin expresses his worries of Cardo’s condition to the president and Oscar can only pray that he recovers soon. Lazaro makes a ridiculous, pathetic pass at Lily and the treacherous snake taunts him with the sinister schemes she has in mind to win over the president completely.
At the Arevalos, Virgie is at it again with her ridiculous drama, whining like a spoilt brat about the sufferings of her daughter because of her husband. While Jerome talks to Bubbles on the phone about Cardo’s condition, Romero gazes at Cardo’s desk at Camp Crame and emotionally reflects on his courage and bravery.
Basco comes over and declares that they would get justice for the deaths of the Agila girls and make Skull pay. Meanwhile, Cardo finally regains consciousness at the hospital and Alyana eagerly calls for the doctor to come and check up on him. The episode concludes as our favorite hero gazes into the face of his dear wife.
