“You aren’t as saintly as you think you are. You’re the root cause of all this. You were the one who räpëd Romina that night. I found out while you were gone. I had Cassie’s DNA tested and it showed we matched. That cufflink. It’s yours, right?”
Roxanne walked in on Cassie and her father engaged in a staring contest. Roxy asked for money to purchase some soda and Cassie offered to go with her. Meanwhile, Leon had a talk with his son about leaving Camila and promised to be a better father to him. Romina stormed into the Mangubat house. For a moment, she was spellbound at the sight of her daughter, and soon sent her out with Roxy in tow. Romina confronted Hector about the note and all the other evidence she had been receiving which incriminated her husband. Hector insisted he knew nothing of it, yet mocking her with the situation.
“Why did you think I’m the one who sent you that letter? Unless… Robert isn’t all that good?”
“No number of pictures or threatening letters will ever tear me and my husband apart,” Mina declared.
Nanny Esther brought breakfast for Robert only to find him missing. Meanwhile, Robert staked out one of Hector’s warehouses. Marga was blown away with Mikoy’s high grades in a test, wondering who he had cheated from. Mikoy said he studied hard because he didn’t want to be left behind like how his selfish dad had abandoned them. Leon sold all his shares to Romina to save her the trouble since Robert didn’t feel comfortable with him around. Mina was reluctant to accept but Leon talked her into it.
“I’m sorry,” Romina said. “If I knew Robert was alive…”
“It’s enough that you even gave me the chance. Thank you, Romina.”
Romina shook Leon’s hand and pulled him into a hug. Cassie talked Roxanne into finishing up their project at the Mangubat house despite their parents’ differences. Kristoff was surprised to learn that Cassie was friends with Roxanne again. Cassie revealed that she had only befriended her so she could keep an eye on her father and help her mom. “Mommy and I suffered when daddy went missing. Someone has to pay for it.”
Robert spied on Hector and his henchmen, videoing them as they carried some illegal goods into a truck. He was almost caught by Hector but managed to slip away. He then made a phone call. “I finally have solid evidence for the report we discussed. I’ll send you the video and the address of the warehouse.”
The misëräble one-eyed-old man was all over Robert as soon as he arrived home, asking nonsensical questions about his survival. Romina pulled her husband aside and asked of his whereabouts, and he recounted his day’s adventures. Mina asked him to leave the investigation to the police. Cassie, as stubborn as a mule, found a way to evade Jepoy after school. She hitched a ride to the Mangubat house as Paco looked on.
A moment later, Hector found his daughter with Cassie and gave her some money to meet up somewhere else. On the guise of using the bathroom, detective Cassie listened in on Hector’s phone call about the raid at the warehouse. Roxanne came searching for Cassie, who was busy snooping around the back of the house. Paco joined Cassie a moment later as Hector asked Roxy to call her on phone. Paco quickly put Cassie’s phone on silent and made their escape.
Roxy received a text message from Cassie, saying that she had already gone home. Paco tried talking some sense into Cassie but she was hellbent on playing detective. Meanwhile, Hector met up with Daniela, blaming and threatening her father over the raid of his warehouse. Danny girl started touching and sweet-talking him. Mikoy spotted them from a distance.
He soon ran into Cassie and Paco and reluctantly revealed what he had just seen. Bratty daughter saw Cassie with Paco outside the house and began trash-talking. Her despicable mommy joined the mix. Cassie gave her a piece of her mind and as Carlos came over, she mentioned how Mikoy had seen her with Hector, holding hands. Carlos was pretty upset while Robert remained indifferent.
Danny girl glared at Cassie. “Take back what you said.”
Cassie stared back at her as if she were an ugly ugly alien from outer space. Paco arrived home and told his father about his adventures with detective Cassie. Leon was glad that his son now knew of how despicable his ‘favorite’ uncle was, though he wasn’t that thrilled with Cassie playing detective. Alvin ranted on and on about having nothing to eat because his brother had been prioritizing other people (Danny girl) over family. Hector was pretty upset as Alvin went on about his obsession for Daniela being the root cause of their problems.
Romina and Cassie apologized for the drama earlier. Robert asked Cassie what she had been doing with Leon’s son, and she told him of how Paco had helped her escape from Hector’s house. Robert and Romina took turns talking some sense into Cassie to quit her unofficial investigations. Bratty daughter confronted Mikoy over him telling ‘lies’ about her dearest despicable mommy. Mikoy said he had only said what he had seen. Meanwhile, detective Cassie was determined not to take anymore mistreatment from bratty daughter and despicable mother.
She recounted to her dad the vile things they had put her and her momma through. Mikoy was downcast after his talk with bratty daughter. Myrna told him that he had done the right thing by telling the truth despite how hard it was. Robert asked Daniela why she had met with Hector. Danny girl ranted on a bunch of nonsense of which Robert didn’t believe. He then asked whether she had been involved in his accident. Daniela spouted some crap I didn’t bother listening.

Robert dragged Daniela into a room. “You. You’re the root cause of all this. You were the one who räpëd Romina that night. I found out while you were gone. I had Cassie’s DNA tested and it showed we matched.”
More drama from Danny girl, going on about how she had been protecting him and his secret. Robert was exasperated. “You think you’re protecting me, huh? But I’m the one who’s hiding the fact that you ordered Alvin to abduct Romina.”
“Dad! You left behind a piece of evidence that can be used against you. That cufflink. It’s yours, right?”
“Daniela, I’m ready to face the truth.”
Later that night, Robert warmed his face with some tap water, staring at his reflection in the mirror. “I have to tell Romina the truth. But I just need a little more time. To find all the answers I need. I have to find out who really tried to k!ll me.”
Daniela asked her father if he was sure about telling Romina the truth. Robert said he was, though he needed some time to deal with Alvin and Hector. Danny girl wasn’t up for it. Nevertheless, she offered to help deal with Hector.
“I’ll give Hector a good fight if he wants one,” Robert declared.
“I can’t let you do that, dad.”
“I have to do something.”
“I can’t let you get into further trouble. Leave it to me. I’ll handle it.”
