“You know, we have a saying in our province. That no matter how long it takes, you’ll find your way to heaven. Or sometimes…to hell.”
The Bartolomes visited Daniela and her stolen baby. Daniela later went to Camila to pick a fight with Romina with her acidic words. Mina didn’t disappoint as she slapped and roughed her up. Nanny Esther came to stop the fight, bearing her stolen baby. Daniela met up with Hector and ranted nonstop about Romina. More ranting as Robert spied discreetly. Romina arrived home and Cassie asked about her dad.
Psycho Eva had tailed Mina, deciding to wait for her ‘husband’ to make contact with the Mondragons. Robert flashed back to Daniela and Hector’s talk. Thinking that Hector was the one using his daughter, he planned on getting her away from ‘that man’. Cassie was still dreaming of her dad showing up on her birthday. LJ and Fatima arrived with gifts. And surprised was she to see Kristoff there as well.
Kristoff came over. “Happy birthday.”
“You said you couldn’t make it.”
“Then I’d miss half my life. I would never miss your birthday.” Kristoff then gave her a gift and a bouquet of flowers he had brought along. Cassie was ecstatic.
Psycho Eva saw someone standing at the other side of the road. Thinking it was her ‘love’, she called out to the person only to have him disappear suddenly. The Herreras arrived at the mansion and Paco gave Cassie a gift he had wrapped up. Kristoff looked on in displeasure. Cassie was downcast since her father hadn’t shown. Romina gave her her birthday present and promised that things would go back to normal, adding that she wouldn’t stop looking for her father. Psycho Eva looked on in disgust from the outside.
Back to the birthday, Cassie wished for her father’s return so their family could be whole again.
“Let’s eat,” Romina drawled after Cassie blew out the candle.
Daniela weaseled her way out of breastfeeding her ‘baby’, claiming that she wasn’t producing. She started bitching as she saw an online post of Cassie’s birthday at the mansion. Meanwhile, Jepoy was driving nanny Esther home, his eyes off the road for a second when psycho Eva happily stepped into his path. The car knocked down the psychotic madwoman. A guard came to inform Romina of the accident outside, and they rushed out. Esther told Mina that it had been an accident. As they carried the psychotic woman into the car to head to the hospital, Daniela arrived on the scene to start her nonsensical arguments.
Nanny Esther and Jepoy were grateful that nothing bad had happened to psycho Eva. Meanwhile, Romina agreed to reinstate Daniela back into Camila on the condition that she help her look for her father. Turned out that Kristoff and Paco had given Cassie a bracelet each. Paco decided to take a selfie with Cassie and there was no way in hell Kristoff would allow that without being in the picture as well. Bratty daughter looked on with her glorified jealousy over the attention Cassie was getting.
Romina went to see psycho Eva, who had no form of identification. She asked of her name and the psychotic woman claimed that it was Maritas. She began putting on a show about how she had come from the province to search for her missing husband. And wouldn’t you just know it? Romina decided to bring the madwoman to work at the mansion until she found a new job and her own place.
Psycho Eva noticed Robert’s portrait. “Løvë?”
“What?” Romina said in disbelief.
Psycho Eva weaseled her way out with her slyness, and Mina introduced her to the inhabitants of the house.Hector was determined to stay ahead of the search since Romina and Daniela would now be working together to look for Robert. Supposedly. He then asked Alvin to spy on Romina. The maids and psycho Eva gossiped about Robert’s accident.
Cassie came down for her lunch and the madwoman asked about her sister. Kristoff came to take Cassie to school as the psychotic woman looked on. Leon and Romina discussed about Eva, and Mina revealed that she had hired Daniela back into the company to keep an eye on her. Daniela came over to spout some crap I didn’t bother listening to.
Psycho Eva checked out the master bedroom of the mansion. She picked out one of Robert’s jackets and wrapped it around herself, hugging and talking to it as if it could respond or hear her. Neil caught her in the act and asked what she was doing there and she claimed that she had gotten lost. Yeah. Lost in 1st class madness.
“Ah…,” Neil drawled. “What are you doing with Robert’s jacket? It won’t exactly help you find the room you’re looking for, will it?”
Psycho Eva claimed that she was going to put it in the laundry, but Neil snatched the jacket from her and kicked her out. Later that night, Neil narrated the bizarre incident to Romina. He suggested that they make her leave the mansion, but Mina was against the idea, though she decided to keep an eye on her and have a talk with her.
Psycho Eva looked on from up the stairs. Romina asked psycho Eva ‘Maritas’ to look for a job somewhere else since she couldn’t provide her documents. Psycho Eva claimed that she had left all her things back in the province, and Romina asked her to go with Neil to have her documents processed. Neil was appalled at the idea, but Mina talked him into it.
The next morning, psycho Eva packed her stuff. A knife included. Neil barely caught her with it. Alvin tailed them as soon as Jepoy drove out of the mansion. Kristoff caught up with Cassie at Camila and apologized for not picking her up at home. Cassie said there was no need because she could manage just fine. Kristoff then offered his help in looking for her father. Using the excuse of the long cue at the registrar office, psycho Eva talked Neil into using the washroom outside. A moment later after they had left, Alvin appeared with some goons. “Let’s split up. We need to find that woman.”
“You know, we have a saying in our province,” psycho Eva began, pulling out the knife from her purse as Neil was preoccupied with his phone. “That no matter how long it takes, you’ll find your way to heaven. Or sometimes…to hell.”
Neil turned back a second after the madwoman hid the knife. “We really have to get your ID done as soon as possible or else I won’t make it to work today.”
Psycho Eva readied her knife again as soon as Neil turned. She spotted Alvin nearby and scurried away like the poisonous rat she was. Daniela revealed to Savannah her plan of playing nice with Romina so she could woo her father to her side when he returned. She then had a phone call from Hector. “What is it, Hector? I’m at work.”
“We found Eva. Alvin saw her. With Romina’s brother.”
“Does that mean Romina and Eva know each other? They’re teaming up to find my father?”
“So… gonna let your stepmom get ahead of you? Or… will you act now?”
