Yvonne & Janine Both Struggle To Deal With Victor’s Condition. Marcus Finally Sees His Father While Audrey Leaves Him Confused. Janine & Yvonne Strike An Usual Deal For Victor’s Benefit.
Janine has a talk with Sonia and she laments over how Victor had forgotten her. Sonia urges her to try to understand the situation and let Yvonne take care of her husband for the time being. Later at home, Janine talks to Carla about her situation.
When Yvonne arrives home, she tells her mother and friends about Victor’s condition and goes on about how he thinks they’re still happily married. Marcus gets excited when he soon comes to learn that his father is already awake.
At the hospital, Sonia meets up with Yvonne and Janine to talk to them about what they need to do to ensure that Victor recovers. She charges them not to reveal the truth to him since it might worsen his condition.
Initially, both women are reluctant to grant her wish but they eventually agree with her. Janine states that she would allow Yvonne to take care of her husband but once he recovers, he would come home to her.
Nevertheless, Yvonne is reluctant to do what is asked of her.Yvonne discusses with Albert about the matter at hand and declares that she would never løvë Victor again even if he begs for it. At home, Marcus pesters her, asking when she would take him to see his father.
Yvonne later talks with her mother about what she had been asked to do. She shares her worries of how things could go wrong and Carmen convinces her to go ahead with it anyway since she only has one life to live. Janine’s pathetic attempt to spoon-feed Victor doesn’t go so well.
When asked who she really is, Janine claims that she’s Yvonne’s friend. Victor starts having a headache and he desperately whines for Janine to call his wife Yvonne so she would come see him. Mrs. Gopez lashes out at her son on account of his intention to seek out Janine and reconnect with her.
Dale gets in her face and blames him for how misëräble his life had turned out. Sandra then slaps him and refuses to let him leave the house. Yvonne gives into her son’s request and cautions him about the stuff that shouldn’t be said to his father due to his condition.
Victor is delighted when his son finally comes to see him at the hospital. He hopes to be discharged soon so he could spend the Christmas with Marcus and Yvonne. Janine spies woefully as Victor gladly reconnects and bonds with his son.
Later, Yvonne finds father and son asleep in the hospital bed and as she tries to slip back out, Victor wakes up and begins rambling sweet nothings to her. Yvonne looks on without a word as her misëräble ex-husband professes his løvë for her.
A moment later, Sonia sits Yvonne and Janine down and manages to convince them to come to a decision as to where Victor would stay after he’s discharged; he would be staying in the house of his former wife since he doesn’t remember his current one. When Janine warns her not to fall for her husband again, Yvonne taunts her with her apparent insecurities. Later that night, Janine has a terrible dream about Victor which causes her to bleed out.
After being checked out by the doctor, she’s charged to avoid getting stressed since her next spotting incident could lead to her losing her baby. It doesn’t take long for Audrey to pester her mother again about wanting to see her “father”. Yvonne resolves to bring Victor home to come and stay with them and continue her pretense for Marcus’ sake.
Marlon expresses his disgust and disapproval and Carmen scolds him. In an interesting turn of events, Janine brings her daughter to see Victor at the hospital and poor misëräble guy gets confused when the little girl hugs him and calls him “daddy”.
Sonia has her taken outside and she drags Janine along to reprimand her for her reckless, selfish move. An exchange of opinions ensue and Sonia leaves her with a threat in the event that something happens to her son because of her stubbornness.
While Dale plans to get out of the province to find Janine and right all of the wrongs he had done to her, Victor reflects on the things that had happened with Yvonne, Janine, Marcus and Audrey. He then asks a nurse about his real condition.
