Yvonne Has A Civil Agreement With Janine. Albert Makes His Move. Janine Desperately Tries To Come Up With The Money For Victor’s Surgery. Yvonne Decides To Finally Let Go & Move On.
Mimi keeps Marcus company in the ICU as he eagerly talks to his comatose father and hopes that he would wake up soon. Suddenly, Victor’s vitals starts to drop and the doctor rushes in with her team to stabilize him.
Yvonne and Janine are equally distressed and they both wound up in the chapel, praying for Victor to push through. Marcus is inconsolable up to the point when the doctor resurfaces to announce that the patient is now out of danger for the moment.
She reaffirms that they need to perform the brain surgery as soon as possible in order to increase Victor’s chances of survival. Since the operation would cost about 3 million, Gary proposes that they all work together to raise the money and Janine is taken by surprise with Yvonne’s goodwill.
A moment later, Albert shows up and tries to cheer up Marcus and Doris begins to throw a childish tantrum directed at Yvonne. Gary makes a futile attempt to talk some sense into his impossible wife.Dale lies dejectedly in his hospital bed and reflects on some past memories with Janine.
His mother comes over to announce that he would be discharged tomorrow and is scheduled to return to the province then. In the meantime, Janine sits by her husband’s bedside and recounts the encounters that had taken place between her, her aunt and Victor.
It doesn’t take long for her to receive a package from an anonymous sender which turns out to be money worth 100,000 pesos. Yvonne dines out with Albert who urges her to move on from her miserable ex-husband and open herself up to new experiences.
Out of nowhere, he tries to ki$$ her but gets interrupted by a phone call. The next morning during breakfast at home, Marlon blows a fuse on Janine’s account and let’s slip how she is pregnant with Victor’s baby. Yvonne is stunned for some reason.
At the hospital, Janine and Dale come across each other’s paths but aren’t able to see each other due to some convenient delay tactics from both sides.Gary apologizes to his insufferable wife for their falling-out earlier and they reconcile. Yvonne confronts Janine about her pregnancy and she blabbers about how she wouldn’t deprive Marcus of his father.
After Yvonne taunts her and points out that Marcus would always be Victor’s first and eldest child no matter how many kids they have together, Janine urges that they call a truce and work together to ensure that Victor gets better. Yvonne agrees so and makes it crystal clear that she’s doing it for her son and Victor’s other kids.
Carmen scolds her son for exposing the truth of Janine’s pregnancy to his sister and Marlon justifies his actions and berates Victor for all the harm he’s caused them, saying that he couldn’t care less if he even died. That earns him a slap from Carmen who regrets it instantly and apologizes. Marlon storms off without another word.
Yvonne has a talk with Gary on the phone about the arrangement they had made for Victor’s benefit. At the hospital, Carla talks with Janine about the secret of Audrey’s paternity. Shakira pays a visit to the Aguiluz residence with lots of gifts for Marcus. Yvonne is nowhere to be found and Mimi fails to reach her on the phone and she begins to wonder where she is.
Sonia urges Janine to go home and get some rest while she and Daria stay behind to watch over her husband. After Janine leaves, Daria begins to spout some crap. Janine returns home to find her precious daughter in the middle of an asthma ättaçk and she strives and manages to diffuse the situation.
Yvonne finally returns home and when she’s bombarded with questions, she states that she had just wanted some time for herself. She declares that it’s time for her to accept that she’s lost Victor for good, move on and be a good mother to her son. She heads upstairs and lies in bed beside Marcus who’s already fast asleep.
The next morning, Janine apologizes to Audrey for neglecting her and spending so much time at the hospital and Audrey states that she wants her “father” to get better. Yvonne is lectured by her lawyer about the case against her ex-husband and she’s asked if she still wants to pursue it. Yvonne shocks her lawyer by declaring that she’s dropping the lawsuit.
