Roman Confronts Carlos In A Fit Of Rage. Emilio The Blackmailer Begins To Cause More Trouble. Carlos Desperately Protects His Dirty Secrets. Maila Comes Closer To The Truth.
At the market, Olsen advertises the Viloria mango sauce to potential customers and urges them to come and try it. In no time, a lot of people begin to patronize the products. Gabriel plans to expand his business and madam Frida urges him to always come to her for his mangoes when his business becomes successful.
Derek informs his cousin about his earlier meeting with Gabriel and Isabel is amazed to learn that he had turned down the lucrative offer to focus on his business. Even more surprised is she to find out that Gabriel and Bianca are now engaged. Isabel plans to taunt Carlos with the information.
Speaking of, Roman confronts his son as soon as he returns home and rewards him with a punch to the face upon learning that he had left the office and was out with Rigor. Carlos tries to make his father believe that he’s just using Rigor to take Gabriel down but suspecting that they might be planning something against him too, Roman threatens to take everything from Carlos if he finds out that he’s been lying to him.
Maila lectures her daughter on the responsibilities of being a married woman, and that as Gabriel’s soon-to-be wife; notably how she might have to sacrifice pursuing her dreams for the sake of her family.
Carlos lamely brandishes a güñ in his hand and he calls Rigor on phone and urges that they lie low for now until Roman’s suspicions of them subsides. He plans to use the güñ to k!ll Roman if he finds out about his secret. The next day at the office, Carlos strives to convince his father that he hadn’t betrayed him.
A moment later, he receives a phone call from Emilio who wants the money he had requested for before. After Carlos snubs him and hangs up on him, Emilio watches Victoria’s confession video and proceeds to send Maila a cryptic text message with the very same phone.
So Isabel proceeds to mock Carlos with the news of Gabriel’s engagement to Bianca. Carlos acts indifferent and declares that Bianca would come back to him when she needs him. Without warning, Emilio unwisely shows himself at TigerShark and Carlos subtly dismisses Isabel to face him in his office.
Carlos is reluctant to pay such a huge amount of money to the blackmailing scoundrel so the guy resolves to taunt him with Victoria’s cellphone and it’s content.Eventually, Carlos offers to give Emilio the blackmailer 50,000 but the guy insists on the 100,000. After he leaves the office, Carlos calls Rigor on the phone.
Just then, Maila reaches out to Roman in his office to show him the text message she had received from Victoria’s number a while ago. As Gabriel and Bianca go to the police station to report the interesting turn of events, Carlos hides Emilio and strives to keep Roman and Maila from seeing them.
To spite Carlos, the blackmailer jokingly calls Maila’s number using Victoria’s phone and he hangs up without saying a word. Maila later rides the elevator with Emilio and some others and she calls Victoria’s number. Since the phone is on silent mode, she isn’t able to figure out the person in possession of it.
Outside, Rigor talks Emilio into riding in his taxi and Maila has a glimpse of them as they leave.Roman tells Carlos about the suspicious text message Maila had received from Victoria’s phone and Carlos makes a pathetic attempt to rubbish his father’s suspicions.
In the meantime, Rigor corners Emilio, beats him up and seizes Vicky’s phone from him. He then gladly calls Carlos to notify him and he’s told to send the phone through a courier service. The next morning, Rigor proceeds to do just that, unknown to him that Maila has been tailing him.
It doesn’t take long for Carlos to receive the package and after he watches the confession video, he sees a threatening text message Victoria had received from Roman. On that note, he concludes that his father was the one who had k!lled his mother.
Carlos quickly hides the phone when he notices Roman approaching. Roman enters his office and brings up Victoria’s involvement in Maila’s case. Carlos plays dumb but gets shocked when his father declares that he can have Victoria’s phone traced.
After Roman leaves, Carlos quickly switches off the phone. Meanwhile, Gabriel tries to get into contact with Emilio, only to find out that he had moved out with his family. He soon notifies Bianca and her mother.
Pointing out that Carlos and Rigor have Victoria’s phone, Maila laments over how the two have been getting rid of evidence. Grandma Lydia confronts her misëräble son about why he’s been helping Carlos and treating him like his own son while destroying Gabriel’s life.
