Bianca Bails Gabriel. Lydia Kicks Rigor Out. Gabriel Gets Vindicated & Catches Carlos & Rigor Red-handed.
The attorney makes everyone understand that they need to find a witness who can prove that Gabriel had really been delivering film reels during the time of Victoria’s death. Olsen, Ambet and the others decide to have a talk with Gabriel’s boss and the other workers at the cinema.
Later, while Olsen delivers the bad news (Gabriel’s arrest) to Bianca at her house, Carlos shows his misëräble face at the police station to make a mockery of Gabriel. An exchange of words ensue and following the altercation, Gabriel gets physical with Carlos and the officers hurry over to restore order.
Bianca decides to use the money they had saved up for Lydia’s hospital bills to go and bail Gabriel out of prison. Olsen and his other companions reach out to Gabriel’s coworkers who agree to testify in his favor.Bianca seeks counsel with the attorney and after being given the green light, she proceeds to go and bail Gabriel out of prison.
Gabriel tells her of his suspicions regarding his father and Carlos working together to bring him down. On their way out of the precinct, they run into Rigor and when Gabriel confronts him about his blue bag which had been found at the crime scene, the scoundrel blows a fuse and rants nonstop.
Once they arrive home, Gabriel thanks his loved ones for all their help. In the meantime, Isabelle confronts Carlos about Gabriel’s imprisonment and the guy plays dumb and denies having had a hand in it. Isabelle won’t be føøled though.
Bianca returns home to tell her family about Gabriel’s release and the encounter with his misëräble father. Gabriel has a talk with his loved ones about his situation and he makes known how he suspects that Rigor has been conspiring with Carlos to frame him for Victoria’s death. Grandma Lydia spies silently.
In the meantime, Rigor meets up with Carlos and tells him of his encounter with Gabriel earlier. Carlos is exasperated to learn of his release from prison and he vows to send him back there. Upon Rigor’s return home, Lydia treats him with indifference and questions him about her grandson’s arrest.
Of course Rigor doesn’t admit to it so Lydia threatens to kick him out of the house if he continues to put Gabriel in danger. On that note, Rigor throws a fit and decides to pack up his things and leave, but not before bidding his son goodbye with a couple of threats.
Isabelle asks Carlos why there had been a company car at the hotel where Victoria had been injured. Carlos plays dumb as usual and Isabel speculates that the real k!ller might be trying to use Gabriel as a fall guy to save himself.
Rigor reaches out to Carlos and asks him to find him a place to stay. Initially, Carlos whines about that not being his problem but eventually and reluctantly, he agrees to get him an apartment.
Rigor urges him to get him a place closer to his mother’s place so he can keep an eye on Gabriel. The trial for the case against Gabriel begins with the testimony of the phony witness, followed by the coworkers of Gabriel who testify in his favor.
Carlos’ testimony against Gabriel is rubbished by the lawyer and eventually, the case is thrown out due to lack of motive and evidence.
Gabriel celebrates his freedom with his family and loved ones and Carlos comes over and gets in his face, saying that it isn’t over. Gabriel taunts him and declares that he won’t back down.
At the Dela Vega Building, Carlos whines about Gabriel’s freedom and Roman offers to help him out so Victoria’s “båstârd son” doesn’t take him down and ruin their family name.
In the meantime, Gabriel and his family and loved ones have a little celebratory dinner together. Lydia apologizes and reconciles with Maila who finally decides to accept Gabriel again as her daughter’s suitor.
Later that night, Gabriel has a glimpse of Carlos entering a house and he follows and finds him with his father. When he confronts them, Rigor claims that he’s only been watching over Carlos, a supposed promise he had made to Victoria before her death.
Still, Gabriel figures that they’re conspiring to take him down so he gets in Carlos’ face and taunts him with how his frame up had gone misëräbly. When Carlos asks what he can even do, Gabriel declares that he can fight for the truth.
