“Take a DNA test with Cassie. If the results are the same, then that means you both have the same father. And that’s Robert. That’s how I’ll know the truth, Daniela.”
The doctor told the Bartolomes that Marga’s body had given up from extreme exhaustion and needed to rest, adding that she could be discharged after she woke up and the bill was settled. After the doctor left, Mikoy gave Carlos Marga’s work ID, suggesting that he check the place out since that was where she had been working for some time now. Hector cornered Daniela at the hospital and offered her some money for the hospital bill.
Danny girl reluctantly accepted it, promising to pay him back. She then started bïtçhiñg about how she was so eager to sell her soul (if she had one to begin with) to the devil in order to take back everything Romina had ‘stolen’ from her. Nanny Esther told the Mondragons about Marga being in the hospital. Neil cautioned his sister to stop stressing herself so much lest she end up like poor bratty daughter. Romina brought up the cufflinks Roxanne had referred to.
Esther had a flashback. “When Alvin and Jude came here before, they both asked me about cufflinks.” Leon was having second thoughts about going through with Hector’s plan. Hector threatened to k!ll his son if he didn’t do as he said. Leon eventually gave in, and Hector told him to take their relationship to the next level and marry Romina. Marga asked her dad whether they had settled the bill, and Carlos said they were yet to pay it in full.
Daniela came over and announced that she had already paid the bill in full, claiming that Savannah had given her the money. Leon was appalled at Hector’s idea and unwilling to keep lying to Romina since he had already done his part in bringing Daniela down. Hector argued that Daniela wasn’t his yet. He threatened Paco again, and Leon told him to leave his son alone since he had nothing to do with it. Hector visited his brother, ranting on and on about how Leon didn’t want to go through with his plan anymore. Alvin insinuated that Leon could be in løvë with Romina.
“He can’t fall in løvë with Romina,” Hector grumbled. “It’ll ruin my plans.”
“Cassie, you have to undergo a DNA test with Daniela,” Romina said.
Neil suggested that they find legal ways to make the investigation a lot safer lest she get into some kind of trouble. Cassie backed him up, and Romina eventually agreed. Over the phone, Bernard told Romina that they couldn’t demand for a DNA test between Daniela and Cassie because Robert had never been a suspect in her räpë case.
Mina asked for any other opinion and Bernard suggested that she ask Daniela to cooperate with her, though he doubted that she could be able to convince her to help. Romina was however determined to see it through to the very end.
Leon went to search for his son and found one of his shoes by the streets. A moment later, he stormed into Hector’s place and demanded for his son. Hector began with his mind games.
Having had enough, Leon resorted to punching some sense into him. Paco revealed himself and asked why they were fighting, and Hector downplayed the matter. Romina confronted Daniela at Navotas and they soon began trading words over her case and Robert’s possible involvement. Mina wanted to confirm whether he was the one who had räpëd her.
“What do you want me to do about it?” Danny girl asked.
“Take a DNA test with Cassie. If the results are the same, then that means you both have the same father. And that’s Robert. That’s how I’ll know the truth, Daniela.”
Danny girl bitçhëd. “You can’t make me do it. So drop dead.” After manipulating Paco and turning him against his own father, Hector demanded that Leon do as he had said, lest he regret it. “Understand? I’ll make you pay for it.” Hector made a cutthroat sign.
Mikoy walked in on Marga and Jenna having a catfight, and he separated them. Jenna said Marga had started it, but Mikoy rambled on some nonsense about Marga always having a good reason for fighting with someone. Marga stared dumbly as sparks started to fly. “Marga, no,” she thought to herself. “He’s a nobody. You can’t fall for Mikoy.”
Mikoy asked Marga to go and get dressed so they’d leave for school together. “Don’t worry. We won’t walk in together so there’s no need to be embarrassed.”
For a second, Marga stared at Mikoy like a lost puppy. She then came back to herself and chased him away like a dog. Daniela managed to lobby her way into being hired in a company. Meanwhile, Romina couldn’t understand why Daniela had refused the DNA test.
“So what will you do now?” Neil asked.
“We have an ally against Daniela. Daniel will never suspect that we have both eyes and ears on her.”
Leon sat by his son’s side and watched while he slept. Meanwhile, Daniela arrived home all smiles with some dinner. Leon told Romina that he loved her and wanted another chance to prove himself. Mina stood her ground and told him that she couldn’t be with him anymore because she no longer trusted him, adding that she was facing a lot of problems involving Robert and she wouldn’t stop until she found out the truth.
Daniela lorded it over her fellow coworkers and rambled on about the changes she was going to make in the company. The genius, who had just gotten hired decided to have some of the workers fired. Go figure. Nanny Esther caught Rosita snooping around the Bartolome house, who claimed that she was just checking for changes and damages around the house as the landlady. Esther prevented her from going into Daniela’s room.
She shoved her right out the door and bolted it. Over the phone, Leon told Hector about how Romina didn’t want him back again. Hector reminded him of their deal.
“What’s your plan now?” Hector asked.
“I won’t stop until Romina accepts me again.”
Romina was having a talk over the phone with Rosita, asking about Daniela’s DNA sample. Rosita said she hadn’t been able to get it because the maid had caught and kicked her out. As Leon listened in, Romina suggested that she try getting a DNA sample from Marga to prove whether she was related to Cassie. A flashback showed how Rosita had confronted Romina and offered to help her get whatever she wanted.
Leon tried to woo Romina with a bouquet of flowers and his sweet-talking, but Mina wouldn’t be swayed. She wasn’t impressed that he kept chasing after her when she had already asked him to give her some space. Rosita told her daughter about her deal with Romina and how they could get a lot of cash from her. She enlisted her help in getting a DNA sample from Marga.
Meanwhile, Leon told Hector about Romina’s deal with Rosita. The dirty Assmonkey. Hector then informed Daniela. Jenna managed to steal a spoon Marga had used recently. A moment later, Daniela called her daughter and told her about Romina’s plan, asking if something weird had happened at the house.
Marga recalled how Jenna had barged in earlier. She soon found out that the spoon she had used was missing. “I need to get it back or else, everyone will know the truth.” Rosita informed Romina that she already had Marga’s DNA sample. Marga confronted Jenna and demanded for what she had stolen from her.
