Janine Gets Much More Than She Bargained For. Devastated With Her Father’s Death, Yvonne Blames Victor & His Mistress & Vows Payback.
Yvonne receives a phone call from Victor about how her father had had a heart ättaçk and died. She’s devastated and inconsolable, just as Victor is torn up with the tragedy. In no time, Yvonne arrives at the morgue with her son and friends and she goes to see her father’s remains and cries over it.
Once Victor shows his misëräble face, she vents out her anger on him and throws a fit, blaming him for her loss. Later, Sonia and Doris come to see Yvonne at the hospital. Victor returns to his mistress’ place looking all miserable and for good reason. He breaks the tragic news to her and beats himself up over it.
Mimi calls Marlon to notify him of his father’s death and when Carmen asks about it, he painstakingly tells her. In no time, arrangement is made for Jaime’s wake and Carmen gives a pretty emotional speech.Mr. Hoffer decides to continue his business partnership with Janine in spite of the recent incident with him and Victor.
Sonia arrives at Jaime’s wake with Doris and she’s distressed to learn of how her son might have triggered the heart attack and led to the death of Yvonne’s father. Victor arrives outside and Gary gives him a talking-to to and charges him not to go inside and cause any more trouble. Carmen blames herself for her husband’s death and Yvonne begs to differ.
In the meantime, Victor paces around outside the funeral home. Albert arrives and gives him a look before carrying on. He joins Yvonne and her family and loved ones. Eventually, Victor comes to pay his respects to the deceased and Yvonne begins berating him for all the pain he had caused her.
Marlon gets pissed off at the sight of Victor and wants to beat him up but Mimi and Shakira hold him off. Carmen is in disbelief to discover that her daughter and husband have been separated for a long time now. While Yvonne continues to mourn her father, she gets irritated to learn that Janine has arrived outside and wants to offer her condolences.
She storms out of the building to go and confront her and lash out at her. Janine silently gets in her car and off she goes. Albert hangs out with Marcus and plays with him some more, teaching him some other “magic” tricks. He then gives him his calling card and urges him to call whenever he has a problem.
Ultimately, Jaime is finally laid to rest and when Victor shows up, Yvonne declares that she would bury all the memories they had together and get her revenge.While Yvonne gets quite emotional upon reading a journal entry of her father, Victor happens to fall sick and Janine tends to him, hoping that they’re not being punished for what they had done.
The next morning, Yvonne reflects on her encounters with her miserable husband and decides to pursue the concubinage case against him and his mistress. She proceeds to seek counsel from her attorney and it’s stated that Victor the accused would be sentenced right away if she can present concrete evidence in court.
The workers confront Janine about the situation with her aunt and the flower farm and she assures them that she’s doing everything she can to buy the land and maintain their business. As if on cue, Vida shows up in person to taunt her niece and have her engineer conduct an aerial survey of the property.
Victor reaches out to Gary to lend him some money and he charges him to keep it a secret from his sister. Shakira and Mimi pick a fight with Carla while berating Janine. When Janine returns the favor, Yvonne butts in and an altercation ensues between the two. Before stalking off with her friends, Yvonne mocks Janine with her decision to pursue her case against her and Victor.
