“Hey you. You’re a räpïst, right? You deserve to be here. Am a crook, but at least I’m no räpïst. Do you know how we welcome räpïsts around here?”
The Topson employee mocked Daniela with her loss of Camila and her inability to afford to post bail for herself. Danny girl blamed Romina for her misfortunes. Go figure. Kulas went with Myrna to ask of Jessa at the Rising Sun agency. The attendant mistook the misëräble one-eyed-old man to be Jessa’s father. Daniela called Carlos and asked for his help. Carlos, who was drunk stüpïd spouted some crap and hanged up on her. An officer came over. “Looks like you’ll be spending the night here, ma’am.”
Carlos was throwing a tantrum over Romina’s relationship with Leon. He was dead set on proving that he was the better man. The dumb dumbass. Leon, now known as ‘The Dirtiest Assmonkey Alive’, paid a visit to Hector. “I’ve done what you asked me to do to Romina.”
Flashback : Hector had a phone call from Leon, asking for his help again. He then had a talk with his brother about using Romina to strip Daniela of her possessions so she’d come running to him for help.
“We can’t even get near Romina,” Alvin pointed out.
“Who says we will?”
“Then who will?”
“Leon.”
Hector met up with Leon and agreed to help him on the condition that he go through with his plan and see to it’s success. A series of other flashbacks showed how Leon the Dirtiest Assmonkey Alive had used and spied on Romina. Remember when Cassie’s bag was stolen on her way home from school? Yeah. The Dirtiest Assmonkey Alive had been behind it. All in an attempt to get on Cassie’s good side by making himself to be a hero. And he had helped Alvin escape as well. Mikoy caught up with Marga as soon as she arrived home. He asked where she had been all day, and Marga held on to her lie of working in the agency as a model. Mikoy noticed the bruises on her hand, but then a call from her mother saved her from any further questions.
“Hello, mom.”
“Marga, I need your help. I’m at the precinct right now.”
“What? What happened?”
Leon asked to see his son since he had fulfilled his part of their deal. Hector however told him that it wasn’t over yet since Daniela hadn’t come begging for his help yet. Romina told her daughter about her relationship with Leon being official now. She asked whether she was fine with it and Cassie revealed what Kristoff had told her earlier. Mina agreed to talk to Leon about it. Hector took Leon to see his son. All Leon’s attempts to get through to him came to nothing even as Paco threw a fit and stormed off.
Meanwhile, Romina was trying to make Cassie believe that Leon was a good man. Hector told Leon to allow Paco to cool off for now. Leon asked whether he could have his son back and Hector said that bringing Daniela down wasn’t enough since Daniela was still not begging him for help. “You need to egg Romina on. Push her into making Daniela suffer even more.”
Back in the Mondragon bedroom, Romina had a call from an anonymous phone caller, supposedly from the person sending her evidence. “What do you know about my räpë case?”
“Let’s meet tomorrow. Go to the Freedom Park alone and I’ll answer all your questions.”
The line went dead. Despite Cassie’s worries, Romina was determined to meet up with the person in hopes of finding answers to all her questions. Hector told Leon that he’d only allow him to be with his son once he had Daniela, adding that Paco would suffer if he didn’t do as he said. “Let’s see what a desperate man like you is capable of doing.”
Leon had a phone call from Romina just then. Hector laughed. “Perfect timing. She misses you already.”
Marga arrived with Nanny Esther at the precinct. Her father was a no-show so she decided to use her savings to get her dearest mommy out of jail. The poor thing. Romina arrived at the rendezvous point, an abandoned building in the Freedom Park. She called and informed Leon about it. The Mangubat brothers were jubilating over the success of their plan and how they would also benefit if Leon managed to get Romina.
Romina had a phone call from the anonymous caller. The misëräble swine came up behind her. It was none other than the dumb drunk dumbass, Carlos Bartolome. The drunk dumbass revealed that he had made one of his employees speak to her last night. He then went on about how Leon was lying to her. Romina wasn’t ready to believe him without any evidence.
Hector arrived with Paco at Leon’s place, only to find that he had already gone out. Meanwhile, back in the abandoned building, Romina was trying to walk away when Carlos grabbed her and started spouting some bunch of nonsense. The dumb drunk dumbass forced her onto a table, spouting some more shitload of crap as he tried to have his way with her. Coming out of nowhere, Leon yanked him off Mina and beat him silly. He stared down at Romina as she laid there, crying.
A moment after the Bartolomes arrived home, the drunk dumbass who was now in cuffs called his dearest wife and asked for her help. Meanwhile, Leon talked Romina into going home to take a rest while he called Bernard and Neil to handle the case. Bernard had a call from Leon, telling him about the situation. Kristoff wanted to tag along but Bernard said it wasn’t the time for them (the kids) to get involved. Neil stormed into the precinct with Bernard in tow and confronted Daniela. Danny girl ranted on and on as an officer came over.
“Your husband tried to räpë Mrs. Romina,” the officer said.
Daniela was in disbelief. “What?”
“What? Did that shock you?” Neil taunted. “Still can’t believe what your b*stard of a husband can do?!”
“I’m sure this is all Romina’s doing.”
“He already confessed, ma’am,” the offer cut in. “We’re documenting his statement.”
An officer brought Carlos out, and Bernard barely kept Neil from pounding some sense into him.
“You b*stard!” Neil yelled. “You’ll rot in jail for what you did, you monster!”
Danny girl confronted her dearest hubby. “Please tell me it’s not true. They’re all lying, right?”
“Please forgive me,” said the dumb dumbass. “Please help me.”
Daniela followed up with a slap. On both cheeks. “You’re disgusting. Didn’t you think of your daughter? You’re a worthless father.”
Leon arrived with Romina at the mansion, updating her on the case. Cassie fretted and consoled her mother, and Mina assured her that she was fine because the police had the dumb dumbass in custody. Romina barely contained her emotions until Bonita took Cassie to her room, not wanting to have her traumatized by the same incident. Leon comforted her.
“This is my fight,” Romina stated. “And I’ll finish it. I won’t let Carlos get away with this. I will do everything to make sure he rots in jail.”
At the precinct, the misëräble one-eyed-old man was ranting on and on about the generous deed his dumbass of a son had done, blaming Romina like always. Gino said Carlos was in the wrong and the overgrown piece of crap only got more upset and hailed unending insults at him. Myrna called Daniela and pleaded with her to help Carlos get out of jail. Danny girl refused, ranted on and hanged up in style. A moment later, Marga pleaded with her mother to do something about the situation since the dumb dumbass was still her father nonetheless.
Romina confronted Carlos with the evidence she had received concerning her räpë case. Dumb dumbass insisted that he had nothing to do with that. Mina didn’t believe him though. Bernard then announced that they were also filing extortion charges against him, aside attempted räpë. Carlos pleaded his sorry ass but Romina was not willing to forgive him for bringing back all the horrible memories of her past.
“I’m sorry,” said the dumb dumbass. “I wasn’t thinking straight. It won’t happen again.”
“I’ll make sure of that,” Mina shot back. “Because I’m going to make absolutely sure that you pay for almost defiling me, Carlos! You will rot in jail!”
Myrna cornered Romina on her way out with Bernard, pleading that she drop the charges against her son. “Carlos must pay for what he did,” Mina said. “Goodbye.”
Romina ran into Daniela and mocked her with her new level of low for coming to her shameless husband despite what he had done. A battle of words ensued. An officer brought Romina some documents she had left behind, and Daniela was surprised to see that it contained a picture of the CCTV footage. The misëräble one-eyed-old man came to add to the trouble and Mina left with Leon and her daughter as Paco looked on secretly from the outside. Carlos the dumb dumbass was asking whether his family had arrived yet. The officers paid no heed to him.
“Hey you,” began one of the inmates. “You’re a räpïst, right? You deserve to be here.”
“Am a crook, but at least I’m no räpïst,” another taunted. “Do you know how we welcome räpïsts around here?”
“What’s your problem?” Carlos challenged.
“You are.”
A punch landed squarely on Carlos’ belly. He managed to fight and fend off most of the attacks, but then one of the guys eventually stabbed him with a makeshift weapon.
“That’s enough!” an officer yelled. “Bartolome. You’re free to go now.”
Romina found out about Carlos’ release. She couldn’t understand why he claimed that he knew nothing about the packages she had received. “Who sent these? And how do they know about the past? Daniela can’t be one step ahead because she’ll bury the truth.”
“What if something happens again, ma?” Cassie worried, and Leon seconded.
Romina was grateful for their concern. She was however not willing to stop now that she felt she was close to finding justice for what happened. “Whoever sent me these wants to tell me something. Maybe this is the help I’ve been waiting for all along.”
“Romina…”
“Leon, please. The sooner, the better. Once this is over, I can finally start new. With you.”
