Desperate For Money To Save Lydia, Gabriel Reaches Out To Roman & Roman Gives Him An Ultimatum. Carlos Plots To Frame Gabriel For Victoria’s Death.
Derek introduces Gabriel to Sir Oliver as their potential endorser and puts in a good word for him so he could join Team Lakas. However, Oliver the owner of the company is reluctant to let him join on account of his bad publicity.
In spite of Derek’s unshaken conviction that Gabriel can really be an asset to their team, Oliver strongly refuses to hire him. A moment later, Derek apologizes to him for how things had gone down and Gabriel assures him that he isn’t at fault.
Still, Derek insists on figuring out a way to help him in order to make it up to him. Bianca is delighted to get a tax return side job worth 5,000 pesos. Rigor dozes off while driving his taxi and he ends up knocking down a random guy on his motorbike, snapping him out of it.
He stops and goes to help and apologize, only to behold the damage he had done to the bike.Gabriel is spending some time with Bianca when he receives a phone call from his father.
A moment later at the police station, he gives Rigor an earful for causing trouble when they haven’t even gotten the money for grandma Lydia’s operation. After Rigor justifies himself, the motorcyclist whines and insist on getting compensated for the damage that had been made to his bike.
Rigor and Gabriel argue about the one million inheritance money and the latter assures the motorcyclist that he would pay for the damages. In no time, Gabriel goes to see Madam Frida who lends him some money to bail his miserable father out of prison.
Bianca works her side job and is excited to get paid. Later, Carlos comes across her and observes as she leaves for home. While Lydia’s condition deteriorates, Gabriel pays off the motorcyclist to ensure Rigor’s release.
He’s then made aware of his grandma’s situation. A moment later at the hospital, the doctor tells them that Lydia needs to undergo urgent surgery which would cost a lot of money. Gabriel urges him to treat his grandma with the promise of getting the money soon.
Ironic enough, he reaches out to Roman and pleads with him to release his inheritance to him. Roman declares that if he really wants the money, then he should stop the investigation that has been tarnishing his name.
Gabriel refuses to do so because he wants justice for his “mother’s” death so Roman has his men throw him out. Upon Gabriel’s return to the hospital, Rigor blows a fuse and whines about his inability to get the money for Lydia’s operation.
Rigor reaches out to Carlos for help and he reluctantly agrees to help. Following several failed attempts to get a job, Gabriel goes to another company and manages to talk and impress the manager into hiring him.
At the hospital, Carlos spies on Lydia and begins to wonder if she would ever see him differently when she comes to know that he’s her actual grandson. Gabriel returns to tell Bianca of the good news and happens to have a glimpse of Carlos as he turns to leave.
While Olsen and his companions strive to use various ways to raise enough money to contribute for the bill for Lydia’s operation, Simeon drops by to see Marilyn and Olsen picks a fight with him. While Lydia’s operation is ongoing, Gabriel prays at a chapel and later receives the help of his loved ones to pay the hospital bills.
Carlos meets up with Rigor to fish for information about what Gabriel had been doing on the day of Victoria’s death. When Rigor presses for him to tell him of his plan, Carlos reveals that he would send Gabriel to jail by pinning his mother’s death on him.
