Marlon Confronts Victor. Albert Gives Yvonne Solace. Yvonne & Victor Strive To Keep The Truth From The Former’s Parents. Jaime Finds Out & Suffers A Heart Attack.
Mimi calls Yvonne to notify her of Marlon’s knowledge of her problems with her husband. Yvonne is appalled to learn that her brother had already gone to the flower farm to cause trouble. As Marlon continues to wreck the flower farm, Carla calls Victor and Janine to tell them about it. Once Victor shows up, Marlon blows a fuse and beats him up silly.
After Janine arrives to behold the chaos and nearly gets hit in the process, Yvonne hurries over to stop her brother from causing further trouble. She drags him home and lectures him on his actions. Marlon apologizes for all the trouble. Yvonne decides to take him home to see their parents and she charges him not to tell them about her situation with her misëräble husband.
Speaking of, Janine whines to Victor about the damages that had been caused and he promises to take care of it.Victor meets up with Marlon and gets berated for his cowardice. He’s then charged to stand up to his responsibilities so his parents don’t find out about what’s been going on.
A moment later, Marlon brings Victor home and when Yvonne expresses her disapproval, he merely states that he just doesn’t want their parents to suspect that something is wrong. Yvonne then cautions her miserable husband about the what’s and whatnots to say during their visit.
The next morning, Yvonne brings her brother home and their parents gladly and emotionally receive him with open arms. Once Victor shows, the family soon have dinner together. Jaime seems to notice the tension between her daughter and son-in-law and when he asks if there’s something wrong, Yvonne blatantly denies it. Jaime lectures them about the downside of marriage life and how to make it work.
Yvonne and Victor put on a show in front of their family to depict the notion that they’re still together. Once they return home, Victor shamelessly leads his son on as to the reason for his constant absence. Later, he talks to Janine on phone to whine about her relationship with Mr. Hoffer her investor.
Ironic enough, Hoffer proposes to her and asks her to leave her fiancé for him but Janine turns him down and threatens to call off their deal. The guy apologizes and hugs her and Victor comes upon the scene and blows a fuse as he goes at Mr. Hoffer. An argument ensues between the lovers who reunite again in not time.
Yvonne is taken to a fancy restaurant by her loved ones to eat and celebrate her birthday. Victor lamely writes a cliché letter for her. Later that night, Albert takes Yvonne out and has her vent out her negative thoughts and feelings about her husband.Jaime tells his wife about his suspicion of their daughter hiding something from them.
On that note, he had invited Victor to go drinking with him so he can find out what’s going on. Later at the bar, Jaime hangs out with his miserable son-in-law and questions him about the problem he has with his wife. Victor apologizes and states that he can’t tell him right away because the time isn’t right.
When Jaime presses for the truth, Victor finally admits that he and Yvonne have already separated. Jaime is shocked. He recovers and lectures Victor about their past, urging him to come home to his family. That falls on deaf ears. Eventually, Jaime turns down Victor’s offer to drive him home and he walks away, he begins to suffer heart pains and drops to the floor. Victor sees this, hurries to his aid and strives to revive him.
