Marlon Returns Home After Confronting Victor & His Mistress. Yvonne Loses Her Father. Marcus Meets His Father’s Other Family & Goes Missing. Victor Marries Janine & Plots To Save Himself At All Costs.
Following the scene Marlon had made at the flower farm, he confronts Victor and his miserable mistress. Victor begins to get unnerved with Janine’s relationship with Mr. Hoffer her investor on account of the several advances he makes at her.
After threatening to spell further for Victor, Marlon charges him to stand up for his wife in front of their parents in order to make it up to him. Yvonne resolves to keep her parents from knowing about her situation with her husband and Victor plays along with her.
Marlon finally returns home to his parents and they receive him with open arms. Yvonne celebrates her birthday with her family and loved ones and she finally decides to come to terms with reality.
Having the inkling that there’s trouble at home, Jaime reaches out to Victor to question him about it and he comes to know of how he had separated from his daughter; the revelation takes a toll on him and he suffers a fatal heart attack.
Yvonne is devastated with the heartbreaking news of her father’s death and she blames Victor and his mistress; she deals with said mistress when she attempts to offer her condolences. Aunt Vida makes her return to taunt her niece with her impending misfortune.
An altercation ensues between Yvonne and Janine and the latter reveals her plan to pursue the case against Victor and have him imprisoned. However, fate plays a bad joke on Yvonne when her marriage is declared as null and void, making Victor a free man. Vida pushes through with her plan to strip Janine of the land.
Yvonne breaks the disheartening news to her son and Marcus resolves to treat his father with indifference when he reaches out to him. Yvonne listens to Sonia’s counsel and agrees to make an arrangement with her runaway husband for the welfare of their son.
Albert saves Yvonne from a near-fatal car accident and takes her out to help her forget about her bad memories.In spite of Yvonne’s caution, Victor brings Marcus to his mistress’ place and the little boy ends up in an altercation with Audrey on account of his miserable father.
Yvonne strives to keep the truth from her son to protect him. However, Marcus finds out anyway and suddenly goes missing. Fortunately, he eventually returns home safely and Victor gets the full brunt of Yvonne’s wrath.
When Victor comes to learn of Janine’s pregnancy, he puts plans in place to finally marry her. Janine knows no peace as her marriage life is tormented with nightmares of Yvonne. Once Sonia learns of how her son had married his mistress, she confronts him.
Janine shows her miserable face at the house to apologize for all the trouble and Sonia vents out her grievances. Yvonne begins to have trouble at work. Worried about the possibility of going to prison, Victor cowardly resorts to the lowest of the low to ensure that Yvonne loses the case she filed against him.
