Carlos Storms Gabriel’s House To Confront Him. Rigor Continues To Scheme With His Real Son. Roman Suspends Bianca & Clears His Name.
Maila receives assistance from Mr. Dela Vega to help with her case against Rigor. Later, Roman meets up with his lawyer to discuss about the case. The attorney points out that there’s one thing worrying him: the fact that they don’t have a motive on why Rigor ättaçked Maila.
Roman is inclined to believe that it could be part of the secret Rigor and Victoria were hiding from him. On this note, he begins to wonder whether Victoria also had a hand in what had happened to Maila. Rigor meets up with Carlos to update him on Gabriel’s plans as usual.
He recounts to him how he had broken Maila’s leg all those years ago so Victoria could compete in the SEA games. At home, Grandma Lydia laments over the probable fallout that could arise from the case that had been filed by Maila against Rigor.
She worries that it could affect her grandson’s relationship with Bianca, and Gabriel makes deliberate attempt to put her worries to rest. Rigor arrives home just then to see his mother’s misëräble state and he asks what’s wrong.
For the hundredth time, Lydia asks her misëräble son if he’s really responsible for Maila’s disability and Rigor denies it as usual.Gabriel then tells him of how Maila had filed a case against him with Roman’s assistance.
Rigor whines about how they have no evidence against him and he’s taken by surprise when Gabriel reveals that Roman had given Maila a lawyer to make sure that they win the case. For a moment, Rigor is rendered speechless.
Gabriel engages him in a war of words as he questions his innocence. Lydia is distressed with the fact that she could lose her son again and Rigor assures her that it won’t come to that. Roman broods by himself in his office, having his eyes glued to a photo of himself and his departed wife.
He begins to wonder the kind of secret Vicky and Rigor have been hiding from him. He then declares that he would find out, whatever it is. In no time, Roman receives a phone call from his lawyer who brings up the investigation into Victoria’s dëäth.
Rigor reaches out to Carlos for help with his case and he grudgingly agrees to lend him a hand. Roman then learns that Gabriel is still pursuing the case against him and bent on proving that he’s the culprit.
As he discusses the matter with the attorney and charges him to keep him posted, Carlos eavesdrops on the conversation. So Carlos has nothing better to do than to go and confront Gabriel at his house and to warn him to stop accusing his father.
Gabriel gets in his face and refuses to budge and after Carlos insults him and his entire family, Grandma Lydia steps in to dish out some scolding. Carlos resumes his bickering with Gabriel who still refuses to back down.
As tension escalates, Rigor shows up to break things up. The scoundrel then berates Gabriel after Carlos has left and whines about how he shouldn’t be rude to him. Gabriel can’t seem to understand why his sorry excuse of a father is defending Carlos.
Roman questions Isabel about the discrepancies in the company’s expenses report and when he figures that she still has no idea where the money had disappeared to, he decides to suspend her for a month. At the accounting firm, Susan asks Bianca about the origin of Isabel’s enmity towards her and she fills her in.
Later at his office at TigerShark, Carlos blows a fuse when he doesn’t find the updated campaign he had requested from Simeon. Susan is appalled to learn of how Bianca had chosen Gabriel the “squatter” over the rich and handsome Carlos.
Speaking of, Carlos rendezvouses with Rigor and he charges him not to make rash decisions that could expose them. Gabriel hangs out with Olsen and his other buddies to do a little catching up.
They talk about the scene Carlos had come to make earlier and it’s insinuated that the Dela Vegas are getting nervous because Gabriel is close to finding out the truth.Isabel unleashes her anger and frustrations on Carlos for failing to stand up for her since he’s the cause of her suspension.
Carlos merely apologizes, saying that he needs her back at the company. Isabel says she would only be coming back to clear her name and nothing else. She then kicks him out of her house. Gabriel surprises Bianca at her workplace with a customized savings can with their picture on it.
Meanwhile, an officer informs Roman about the company car that had been at the hotel within the time frame of Victoria’s dëäth. When asked about it, Roman declares that he knows nothing and was in his office the whole day on the day of his wife’s dëäth.
A moment later, the property manager shows up and after seeing the details of the vehicle, he states that they had already sold it before the incident at the hotel. The guy then shows the officer the deed of sale and that seems to prove Roman’s innocence.
