Carlos Orders A Hit On Gabriel & Roman Makes His Life Miserable. Susan Defends Bianca From Isabel.
Gabriel goes to the public attorney’s office to request for an investigation into his “mother’s” dëäth. It’s made crystal clear to him that they can’t file a case against Roman without strong evidence. Since Gabriel can’t interfere with the ongoing police investigation, the attorney decides to talk to them on his behalf.
Upon her return home, Bianca tells her family of her experience with her new boss at the accounting firm. Maila and Ben worry about her working for such a strict boss and Bianca assures them that she can handle it.
Rigor calls Carlos on phone to tell him of the new job he’s acquired, only to get trash-talked as usual. Carlos charges him not to waste his time calling him ever again if he doesn’t have anything important to tell him about Gabriel.
Rigor says he’s doing everything he can and only asks for one thing – to be treated as a father or at least a human being. Upon arriving home, Rigor eavesdrops on Gabriel as he’s telling his grandma about his plan to file a case against Roman once he gets evidence against him for Victoria’s death.
Later during dinner, Rigor the scoundrel eggs on his son not to back down against Mr. Dela Vega. Bianca works at the accounting agency and happens to see some kind of discrepancy in the records about TigerShark.
Maila pays a visit to Victoria’s grave and prays for support to get the justice she’s longed for so long. Roman then shows up. Gabriel receives a subpoena to present himself at the trial court of Quezon City for the slander case Roman had filed against him.
Roman offers to help Maila get justice for being crippled by Rigor. When Maila brings up how he had kicked her daughter out of his company, Roman downplays the matter and manages to convince her to join hands to get Rigor punished for his crimes.
After receiving help from Olsen to finish his thesis, Gabriel parts ways with him and ends up getting ättaçked by a gang of hoodlums who beat him up and rob him blind. In no time, Carlos receives a photo of a battered Gabriel and he gloats with delight.
Gabriel is assisted by some passersby and he’s taken to the hospital where he’s treated. Grandma Lydia frets over him while Rigor shows fake concern. Bianca gives Susan her boss the report she had finished working on which happens to be for TigerShark.
After pointing out that it has anomalies, Susan gives Bianca a new assignment and charges her to finish it by 7am tomorrow. Later, Bianca goes to see Gabriel at the hospital. Rigor the scoundrel meets up with Carlos and gives him a keepsake.
Carlos grudgingly thanks him. After dismissing Rigor, he reflects on some birthday memories with his departed mother. Lydia counsels her grandson to apologize to Roman so he would drop all the charges against him.
Gabriel objects to the idea, saying that he hadn’t done anything wrong and so won’t back down. Carlos gloats over his father’s plan to sue Gabriel for slander and promises to do anything to help. Roman charges him to be careful of Rigor, adding that he would find out what he and Victoria have been hiding from him.
Following the anomaly that had been found by Bianca in the report of TigerShark, Susan proceeds to fill Roman in. Isabel gets chewed out by her boss for the mistakes in the report and in a fit of rage, she goes to the accounting agency to make a scene.
Upon learning that Bianca was the one who worked on the report, Isabel confronts her and accuses her of manipulating numbers. In an interesting turn of events, Susan comes to Bianca’s defense and puts Isabel in her place.
The Agbayanis pay a visit to Victoria’s gravesite along with Gabriel and his grandma Lydia. Rigor picks a fight with Maila for her persistence in pursuing a case against him on account of her disability.
A moment later, the serenity of the place drops drastically with Roman’s sudden appearance as he confronts Gabriel for accusing him of Victoria’s death. When Roman declares that he has no evidence, Gabriel states that he’s just seeking justice. Roman taunts him, saying that he won’t get far.
Gabriel then throws one back at him and tells him that he must be guilty if he’s that scared. An altercation ensues as Carlos takes Gabriel down with a cheap shot and tangles with him. The others strive to break up the fight and eventually, Gabriel leaves with his family. Roman and Carlos both look on with a vengeance.
