“Don’t you know me? I’m Daniela Mondragon-Bartolome. Doesn’t that ring any bells for you? If it doesn’t, I can help you. I can buy you and this entire company.”
Bernard had a talk with Leon concerning the recent happenings. He was certain that someone had helped Alvin escape, and Leon tried his best to incriminate Daniela. Meanwhile, Alvin was basking and celebrating his freedom with some hotdogs. Hector asked about the prison break, and he revealed that Savannah had helped him escape.
Hector recalled Daniela’s words. “She lied.”Romina paid Daniela a visit at Navotas, mocking her with her situation and taunting her with the rat she had caught earlier. Their battle of words dragged on, and Romina promised to visit her again once she was behind bars. Marga confronted Jenna for stealing her clothes.
After a few exchange of words, Jenna annoyingly shoved some money into Marga’s hand to cover up the cost. Both girls ranted on and on. Arriving at the mansion, Romina discussed with Leon her surety of Daniela hiding something which Alvin probably knew.
“I have to know if Hector’s hiding Alvin.”
“That plan of yours is too dangerous,” Leon said, pulling her into a hug. “Just let us handle it. I know you can take on Daniela, but Hector’s different.”
Romina pulled herself out of the embrace. “Leon…”
“I’m just worried about you.” (Ewww)
As Romina stared back at him in surprise, Cassie walked in on the scene. Mina sent her on her way to school, even as she kept staring at Leon in confusion. Mad. Rosita and her blabbering daughter were gloating over the stuff blabbering daughter had stolen from Marga.
Rosita said they had to keep playing nice to get a lot more from ‘those idiøts’ since they seemed loaded. Daniela called Savannah, bombarding her with questions about Alvin, worried that they’d both end up behind bars if he ratted them out. Hector pulled over and ordered her to get in.
Romina was in a trance-like state as she walked into the living room. She flashed back to her encounter with Leon earlier. Neil, who was busy watching a romance movie, let out an excited shout, startling her. He then gave her the document the sales department had sent her.
The board were excited with their good fortune on account of Romina’s return. They started discussing about her sudden closeness with her business partner. Hector confronted Daniela for having his brother kidñäpped and using Romina as a scapegoat. After trading a few words, he found Danny girl laughable when he came to learn that she was going job hunting.
“You might as well work for me then. You’ll live like a queen. And you’ll earn more money.”
Daniela shrugged off Hector’s advances. “And what will I do, be your servant? No thanks.” Danny girl stormed out of his car and carried on.
Kristoff found Cassie sitting by herself. He joined her and asked what was bothering her. Cassie said she suspected that there was something going on between her mom and Leon. She wasn’t thrilled to have Leon take her dad’s place. Kristoff told Cassie to talk things out with her mom and give them a chance if she really liked Leon.
A notification from Cassie’s phone prompted her of Nanny Esther’s upcoming birthday. Kristoff insisted on helping out.Romina was on her way to a meeting at Camila when Leon approached her and dropped the three letter bomb: “I løvë you, Romina.” As Romina stared in shock, Leon rambled on some other nonsense, and Mina told him that her top priorities at the moment was Cassie, the company and her case.
Treacherous Leon said he was willing to wait. Marga and Jenna engaged in a meaningless battle of words. The details bored me so much that I didn’t even bother to listen. Meanwhile, Daniela arrived at a company and began acting all high and mighty when a receptionist stopped and asked for her ID.
“Do you have an appointment with Mr. Del Rio?”
“What? Why will I need to set an appointment? We’re friends.”
“I’m sorry, ma’am, but I can’t let you in. You can call him yourself to schedule a meeting though.”
“Don’t you know me?” Danny girl hissed. (Yeah. Who the hell are you?) “I’m Daniela Mondragon-Bartolome. Does that ring any bells for you? If it doesn’t, I can help you. I can buy you and this entire company.” (Right. How much do you have left in your account? Less than a 100 pesos? Am pretty sure that can’t even buy you a dog or a good meal at your favorite restaurant, sucker.)
Mr. Del Rio, who had seen and watched the whole show came over. “Daniela. What brings you here? Are you okay?”
“We go way back, and from what I’ve gathered, you need a new vice president for marketing.”
“I see. But why did you choose my company? Is it because you lost Camila?”
“Of course not.”
“I’m sorry, Daniela. But I cannot hire you in my company.” (Yah!)
“What? Why?”
“I came just in time. And I witnessed how you treated my employee. That’s not what I want in my company.”
Having no sense of shame, Danny girl resorted to downgrading Mr. Del Rio’s company, branding it as cheap and not up to her standard. (What a sore loser). Cassie and Kristoff decorated a room at a restaurant, discussing about Romina and Leon’s relationship. Out of the blue, Kristoff smudged Cassie’s nose with the tip of a paintbrush. Cassie retaliated, dipping his hand with paint. (Awww. Don’t they both look so cute together?)
“Okay, we’re even,” Kristoff said, laughing.
Cassie pouted. “No fair. I have paint on my face.”
Daniela arrived home, cussing at her shoe and the friend who had refused to hire her. Marga offered to work again as a model so she can stay back to rest for the sake of her nonexistent future sibling. Danny girl wasn’t so thrilled with the idea. Marga then informed her of Romina calling Nanny Esther out.
Back at the restaurant, Cassie and Kristoff reminisced about their childhood and relationship, taking comfort in the fact that they were still friends and talking to each other. A moment later, Nanny Esther walked into the now-dim restaurant and was met with a surprise. She was as excited as camp Romina was as thrilled to celebrate her birthday.
Cassie gave her a gift – a new pair of glasses with the right prescription. Daniela was grumbling over where Romina had dragged nanny Esther to. As Marga was working on her homework at the table, the lights suddenly went out. Yep. Danny girl had forgotten to pay the electricity bill.
A moment later, Marga went out to finish her homework with a candle. The neighbors spouted some nonsense and mocked them with the situation, and Danny girl unleashed her venom of words on them. Leon arrived at the restaurant with a package for Esther. He even brought along Cassie and Romina’s favorite food.
Meanwhile, Daniela and Marga were going into the restaurant to buy a cake for Esther when they noticed camp Romina inside. Despicable mother and bratty daughter weren’t pleased with the sight.Romina told Nanny Esther about Leon’s confession of løvë and how she was still thinking about it. Esther said she’d been through a lot and it was time for her to be happy again.
Meanwhile, Gino informed Carlos about how Leon was now supposedly courting Romina. Dumblors didn’t seem pleased. And Kulas? The misëräble one-eyed-old man was misëräble over his failure to find Jessa.
Leon approached Cassie with gestures of all holiness to woo her to his side. Cassie was grateful for the crab roe which was her and her dad’s favorite. She recalled her moments with Robert. Leon rambled on about his fake qualities and personality which ridiculously enough, Cassie found was similar to that of her dad’s.
“I saw you with my mom earlier,” Cassie said as Romina looked on from where she sat with Esther and the others. “Do you have feelings for her?”
“I know it’s all so sudden, but I promise I have good intentions. ( burn you! ) “I ‘m not going to pressure your mom to commit to anything. It’s enough for me that you both know of how I feel.” (Whatever. Even I have better lines than you.)
The next morning, Romina had a talk with Cassie about her conversation with Leon the night before. Mina said she didn’t have time for løvë, and Cassie told her that she would respect her decision as long as she was sure of Leon since they didn’t really know him that much.
“I hope he can prove that he has good intentions,” Cassie said. “And I just want to see you happy too.”
“But I am, Cassie. Who told you I wasn’t? We fulfilled our promise to your father.”
“But I know how lonely your heart is. Because I know the feeling now, mamma. So I know it hurts when you try to ignore it. You deserve all the happiness in the world now, mamma.” Romina stared at her daughter for a while and pulled her into a hug. The episode ended as she tried to hide a smile of relief.
