Victoria Dies As Tension Escalates Between Roman and Gabriel, and Carlos and Rigor. Gabriel & The Dela Vegas Struggle To Deal With Their Loss. Carlos Schemes With Roman To Make Rigor Pay.
Carlos disregards Rigor’s consistent efforts to convince him to give him a chance to get closer to him. He begins whining about how Rigor has absolutely nothing to offer him as his father. Rigor urges him to give him a chance and Carlos accuses him of trying to k!ll his mother.
He vows to make Rigor rot in jail if Victoria doesn’t wake up from her coma and recover. Gabriel goes to see his comatose “mother” and laments over how he has always longed for her. He hopes that she finally wakes up so they can be able to fix their relationship.
As fate will have it, Roman arrives on the scene and storms over to drag him out of the room. Gabriel resists and after an exchange of words, Roman punches him in the belly. Before tension can escalate any further, Victoria’s vitals begin dropping drastically.
Dr. Reyes and his team rush in to usher out Roman and Gabriel while they strive to stabilize Vicky. Unfortunately, all their efforts come to nothing as Victoria ends up dying anyway. Roman and Gabriel are both devastated.
Once Carlos receives the bad news, he unleashes his anger and frustrations on Rigor, accusing him of k!lling his mother. Some officers hurry over to restore order and after Carlos is compelled to leave, Rigor breaks down and begins to make a scene.
The officers then restrain him and throw him back in jail. At home, Gabriel receives support and consolation from his family and loved ones. Rigor picks a fight in prison and gets ganged up on and beaten up pretty badly.
Maila sadly reflects on some fond memories she had had with Victoria during their time on the Philippine Team. Maila goes on about her friendship with Victoria ever since they had been kids. Rigor is admitted at the hospital and treated of his wounds after the beating he had suffered at the hands of the other inmates.
Grandma Lydia urges Gabriel to find a way to get his father out of prison so she doesn’t end up losing him too. With Victoria’s wake ongoing, Isabel shows up with Steph in tow to offer her condolences to Mr. Dela Vega.
Maila and her family also come to offer their condolences. Roman forgives Carlos for betraying him and regrets how he had kept his wife locked up in the mansion. He blames himself for what had happened to her and Carlos declares that it’s Rigor’s fault and they have to make him pay.
Maila goes to see the viewing and weeps over the loss of her friend. Isabel approaches Carlos and extends her condolences to him. Jay Jay communicates with Steph through text messages about the sad occasion.
Later when everyone has left, Gabriel shows up with Bianca to see the remains of his mother and mourn her death. In no time, Victoria is laid to rest at the cemetery and Gabriel and his grandma watch the funeral from a distance.
Roman and Rigor simultaneously express remorse over the things they had done that might have led Victoria to her unfortunate end. While Gabriel vows to stop at nothing to get justice for Vicky’s death, Carlos grieves by himself and plots to take Gabriel down so he doesn’t take from him everything he’s worked so hard for.
Maila makes up her mind to file charges against Rigor for crippling her.Gabriel and Rigor consult with a lawyer about the case and are delighted to learn that the latter can be bailed out of prison. Gabriel is even more excited to be cleared and finally be able to go back to school.
Later, Bianca has a talk with Gabriel about her mother’s plans against his father and Gabriel promises to help her seek justice no matter what. He proceeds to work a couple of jobs to come up with enough money to bail Rigor.
Meanwhile, Grandma Lydia reaches out to Mr. Dela Vega and pleads with him to have mercy on her family and forgive her son for everything he’s done, saying that he had nothing to do with Victoria’s death. Roman refuses to listen to reason and walks out on her all the same.
