Victoria’s Life Hangs In The Balance As A Series Of Discoveries Unfold. Rigor Is Arrested For The Attempted Murder of Victoria.
While Gabriel and his grandma bask in the reactivation of their electricity, Bianca and Maila are on their way to go and see Victoria at her hotel room when they’re met with the very unpleasant news of what had happened. Roman fills them in as his dear wife is being carried on a stretcher into a waiting ambulance.
While Carlos arrives home to learn of his mother’s misfortune, Rigor also returns home all rattled up. After gurgling up some water, he slips into his room where he stares at a photo of Victoria.
Speaking of, Vicky has been admitted at Dr. Reyes’ hospital and hooked to some life support machine. Roman is informed that his dear wife needs to undergo an operation. When Carlos shows up all misëräble, he gets in his face and blames him, saying that good old Vicky’s life wouldn’t be hanging in the balance had he not helped her escape the mansion.
Carlos throws one back at his father but doesn’t seem to win the blame game. In the meantime, Bianca and Maila show up at the Viloria residence to inform them of what had happened to Victoria. Gabriel gets pretty worked up while Rigor seems shocked.
Still, that doesn’t stop Maila from confronting him about the last thing Vicky had said to her. Rigor plays dumb and stüpïd and denies it as usual. The police identify Rigor as the last person to have been in contact with Victoria before the incident at the hotel and Roman is left in disbelief at the turn of events.
Grandma Lydia questions her son about his involvement in the ättaçk on Maila and Rigor resolves to give her the silence treatment. Carlos goes to see his mother at the hospital room, just as Gabriel arrives at the premises with Bianca and Maila in tow. As fate will have it, Rigor is served an arrest warrant for the frustrated mürdër of Victoria.
The police cuff Rigor and take him away, much to the disbelief of Grandma Lydia and the rest of the neighborhood. After Carlos learns of Rigor’s arrest, he confronts Gabriel upon setting eyes on him at the hospital. Rigor is interrogated at the police station and he recounts the details of what had happened between himself and Victoria.
Apparently, Vicky had been planning to leave the country with the help of Carlos, and had been remorseful enough to confess how she had had him arrested years ago. Flashbacks reveal how Rigor had reacted to Victoria’s confession but had eventually forgiven her, of which Vicky had been most grateful. Presently, Rigor insists that he isn’t to be blamed for what had happened to Victoria.
A moment later, Gabriel comes to see his father at the holding facility to question him about what had happened to his supposed mother. Rigor declares that he løvës his fake mommy a lot and would never do anything to ever hurt her. He then actually pleads with him not to let him go back to prison and Gabriel promises to get him out once he finds evidence of his innocence.
Even after the success of Victoria’s surgery, Dr. Reyes tells Carlos that he can’t guarantee that she would wake up from her coma. The police return Victoria’s things to Roman and he tends to get suspicious when Vicky’s phone and wallet are missing from the lot. Maila has a talk with her daughter about Vicky’s misfortune, saying that it will affect Gabriel if Rigor is proven guilty.
Speaking of, Gabriel returns home to meet the aftermath of a police search that had been carried out earlier to find evidence against Rigor. Grandma Lydia is quite confident that in spite of the vices of her son, he would never lay his finger on a woman.
She’s then reminded of all the evidence pointing to Rigor as Maila’s ättaçker. Roman stares at a photo of himself and his wife in his office and breaks down. Isabel barges in and apologizes for invading his privacy before walking out. Meanwhile, Carlos angrily shows up at the police station to confront Rigor.
