Victor & Janine Receive Unending Criticism From Their Families & Society. Yvonne Fortifies Herself To Fight Her Husband & Mistress For Her Son’s Sake.
Doris notifies Sonia about Yvonne’s miscarriage and it takes a toll on her. In the light of this misfortune, Gary confronts Victor to give him a reality check, just as Doris storms Janine’s house to throw the terrible news in her face.
Yvonne receives solace and apology from Sonia for the unfortunate fate she had suffered because of the vices of her miserable son. Guilt-stricken with the loss of an innocent live, Janine packs up her stuff and decides to leave the country.
However, Audrey’s stubbornness and Victor’s persistence stops her from doing the right thing. Yvonne reunites with her son and tells him of her misfortune.
Upon learning of the incident, Victor runs back to his wife to plead for forgiveness and after Yvonne deals with him drastically, he resolves to go back to his mistress, wanting to be with her forever.
Yvonne is counseled by Mimi to do a makeover in order to get back her husband. Marcus is left in the care of Doris and her family and he’s inclined to believe that the problem between his parents isn’t something to be fixed.
Following Yvonne’s makeover, Mimi takes her out for a girl’s night out. Yvonne ends up at the police station after making a scene upon being riled up by some gossipmongers. Doris reaches out to her brother to talk to him about his son, only to get word on Yvonne’s situation.
Trouble begins to brew when both Victor and Albert show up at the precinct to bail Yvonne out. Victor has the guts to pick a fight with his wife on this account and Yvonne gives him a reality check following an altercation between him and Albert.
Janine faces more criticism for stealing a married man and she’s compelled to transfer her daughter to another school. Yvonne spends some more time with Albert and Victor picks another fight with her on account of an unfortunate incident that had befallen Marcus.
Determined to be with his mistress and marry her, Victor decides to file for an annulment with Yvonne. However, Yvonne won’t make things so easy for him. Sonia confronts her son again and dishes out another reprimand, vowing to never accept his mistress over his wife.
After receiving the petition for annulment, Yvonne storms the flower farm to finally confront her rival. After making a scene worth remembering, she lashes out at Janine for ruining her family and reminds her of the law of karma.
Yvonne remains determined to go to any lengths to fight for her husband for Marcus’ sake, much to the displeasure of Albert. She resolves to sue both Victor and his mistress for concubinage. Janine’s aunt Vida returns from Dubai and reprimands her for stealing someone else’s husband, demanding that she return the family man to his wife.
Marcus is downcast on account of the absence of his father at his birthday party. Having absolutely no shame, Victor shows up at the event with his mistress in tow, provoking Yvonne to anger. When Janine refuses to let go of Victor, her aunt threatens to evict her out of the land she entrusted to her.
Upon learning that he risks going to prison since his wife has a strong case against him, Victor resolves to beg Yvonne to cancel the lawsuit. However, Yvonne strongly refuses to drop the charges. Victor then takes his shameful face to his mother’s place to plead with her for assistance. Ultimately, another altercation ensues between Janine and Yvonne.
