Yvonne has difficulty cooking some fish and Marcus teases him with it. After the table is set, the little boy gets disheartened after failing to reach his father on the phone and Yvonne cheers him up. Meanwhile, Sonia storms Janine’s house with Gary and Doris to confront the insufferable woman. She lashes out at her for ruining a happy family.
Janine lamely apologizes and blabbers about her løvë for Victor and Sonia unleashes on her again. Victor gets his share of the scolding and some slaps to boot as he tries to defend his miserable mistress. Mimi has a talk with Yvonne about how her husband had made a fool of her.
Yvonne wonders where she had gone wrong to be dealt with such harsh cruelty. She laments over her ordeal and Mimi urges her not to blame herself because she isn’t at fault: Victor is to blame because he never appreciated all the sacrifices she made for their family.Mimi consoles Yvonne as she cries her eyes out.
Victor remains determined to continue his relationship with Janine so he plans to keep making everyone believe that he’s the biological father of Audrey. Janine can do nothing better than to whine about her situation.
Later, she blabbers nonstop to Carla about her bad luck in relationships and how she had fallen in løvë with Victor without meaning to. Sonia has a talk with Yvonne about her situation and relates with her since she had also been through the very same thing.
She then urges her to try to forgive her husband and fix their family for the sake of their son. In addition, Sonia brings up her upcoming birthday and urges her to be in attendance with her son and patch things up with her husband.
Yvonne doesn’t think it’s possible for her to reconcile with her traitorous husband and Sonia strives to convince her otherwise. Victor informs Janine about his mother’s birthday and how he needs to go over to talk to her. In no time, he shows up at the event, much to the excitement of no one but Marcus.
When asked why he hasn’t come back home for days now, the miserable man shrugs off his son’s question as everyone looks on warily. Suddenly, Yvonne runs off to go and throw up. While Carla makes a futile attempt to reason with Janine about her sick affair with Victor, Marcus compels his mother to take a photo with him and his father.
A moment later, Doris has the room cleared for the couple to talk out their issues. Victor puts on a pretty pathetic scene and laments over how he can’t do anything. Yvonne stoops low to plead with him not to leave her and Marcus for his miserable mistress.
However, Victor does the cowardly thing again by disregarding his wife’s pleas to return to his mistress.Yvonne roams the street miserably and ends up passing out right out there from some stomach pain.
Again, Albert comes across her and hurries to her aid. At the hospital, Yvonne regains consciousness and the doctor reveals that she had been two months pregnant but unfortunately, she just had a miscarriage due to stress and fatigue.
Yvonne is at a loss for words and Albert can only offer his condolences. Mimi shows up quite distressed and plans to break the terrible news to Victor to compel him to come back home. However, Yvonne objects to it, saying that she doesn’t want his pity.
She laments over her loss and blames Victor for everything and Mimi strives to console her. After being discharged, Yvonne deliberately keeps herself away from Victor’s family so he doesn’t get to find out about what had happened to her.
While Victor stares at photos of his two families, Yvonne receives a phone call from Albert who’s called to check up on her. She thanks him for all his help and he convinces her to treat him to some food and pay for the damage she had done to his car.
A moment later at a restaurant, Yvonne gives Albert a partial payment with the promise of paying the rest later. Nevertheless, Albert refuses to take the money, saying that he had already fixed his car and just wanted to see her and help her relax.
In the meantime, Doris pesters Mimi to tell her about the secret she’s been keeping. Doris is appalled and shocked to learn of the terrible news. Later that night, Yvonne breaks down on account of her husband’s betrayal and Albert insists on driving her home. Albert lends her his handkerchief to clean her tears, saying that he hopes no one makes her cry anymore.
