Roman Continues To Tërrørize His Wife. Gabriel Struggles To Deal With His Situation. Following Rigor’s Frustrated Efforts, Carlos Breaks His Mother Out Of The Mansion. Victoria Suffers A Tragic Fate.
The episode begins with Jay Jay finding Steph burning up with a fever outside the school. He frets over her and asks about her sister and Steph tells him that she had already texted her yet she hadn’t shown up.
Without warning, Steph passes out and Jay Jay manages to catch her before she falls. While Maila and Ben are dissing Victoria for choosing her rich husband over her own “son”, Jay Jay brings Steph home and his family resolve to take care of her and nurse her back to health.
Isabel arrives at the school just then to find that someone had already picked up her sister. Victoria makes a pathetic attempt to get her husband to start treating her right since she had already done what he had asked. She then asks that they end the marriage already.
Roman stops her from leaving and knocks her to the floor with a slap to the face, declaring that she isn’t going anywhere. Good old Vicky cries miserably with her bloody face and busted lip on the floor. Anyway, the electricity for Gabriel’s house has been disconnected since they haven’t been able to pay their bills for two months, all thanks to Rigor’s antics.
Olsen and the rest of the family decide to contribute to help solve the problem, with Coach Ambet chipping in the most to reward Gabriel’s loyalty to him. Rigor the scoundrel soon arrives home and begins whining about how he can’t sleep in such a hot room. Isabel begins to worry about her sister’s whereabouts and she soon receives a phone call from Bianca who informs her of what had happened.
Gabriel confronts his sorry excuse of a father and blames him for the situation they’re in since he had stolen all of his money. An altercation ensues. Victoria plans to escape her imprisonment before Roman finds out that Gabriel is his true son, fearing that he would k!ll her for sure. Steph fortunately recovers and thanks Jay Jay’s family for all their help.
Isabel soon arrives and begins whining about how her sister hadn’t waited for her to pick her up. Carlos gets pretty upset to discover what his father had done to his dear mother’s pretty face and as he tries to go and confront him, Victoria stops him so he doesn’t also suffer Roman’s wrath. Upon arrival home, Isabel bans Steph from ever leaving the house without her permission.
Rigor the scoundrel attempts to sneak into the Dela Vega mansion to rescue Victoria. As fate will have it, Roman happens to spot him and after he goes into hiding, he makes a futile attempt to flush him out. Roman dares Rigor to show himself and when he doesn’t take the bait, he eventually leaves and carries on.
The next morning, Gabriel returns to the cinema where he gets hired a second time there. He almost gets into an accident during one of his deliveries. Carlos gets rid of the security men in several ways and grabs some stuff for his mother. He then gets her into his car and sneaks her out safely.
In no time, Roman receives word from his private investigator about how Carlos had helped his wife to escape. Carlos books Victoria at some hotel and plans to make arrangements for her to leave the country. Olsen has the unpleasant surprise of seeing Marilyn with Simeon at the Agbayani residence. Carlos charges his mother to keep her location a secret from Rigor.
Vicky surprises her son by stating that she needs to make up for all the lives she has ruined: she wants Maila to get justice so she considers exposing to her the fact that Rigor was the one who had crippled her. The Villoria family excitedly celebrate having been able to get back the electricity at the house.
Meanwhile, Maila receives a phone call from Victoria who tells her pointblank that Rigor was the one who had ättaçked her back then. Maila is shocked with the confirmation, though she already suspected so. A moment later, Victoria is the one who gets shocked when an unidentified person pays her a visit at her hotel room.
Maila discusses Victoria’s revelation with her family and considers going to see her. Her attempt to reach her on phone proves futile. Roman receives a phone call from a police man, telling him about something that had happened to his wife. In no time, he shows up at the hotel to find the place teeming with cops and Victoria lying on the floor unconsciously.
Roman is quite shaken up and when he asks what had happened, the lead officer recounts how a maintenance personnel had found Vicky bloody and lifeless: apparently, she had fallen off the bridge. Roman laments deplorably. In an interesting turn of events, Vicky is found with a pulse and thus, still alive and Roman demands that they take her to the hospital immediately.
