Gabriel Escapes Roman’s Clutches & Files A Case Against Him. Victoria Betrays Gabriel. Roman & Carlos Connive Together To Destroy Gabriel.
Roman holds Gabriel at güñpøint and as he tries to shoot him, Victoria intervenes to give him the chance to escape. Roman goes after him and fires some off-target shots before sending his men after him. Gabriel evades the guards and manages to escape the mansion after an encounter with one of the men.
Grandma Lydia suffers from some breathing difficulties because she hasn’t been able to take the required medication for some time now. When it subsides, Olsen and the others urge her to free feel to come to them for help in buying the medicine she needs since they’re practically family.
Jay Jay drops off Steph at her school and insists on picking her up later when his school closes. As Bianca arrives home with Marilyn and her luggage, Roman confronts Victoria for protecting her “son”. Gabriel goes to the police station to file a report about how his “mother” is being kept locked up by his husband who even threatened to k!ll him.
While Jay Jay shows up at Steph’s school later on to accompany her home, Isabel notifies Carlos of how their competitor wants Gabriel.
Carlos couldn’t care less and doesn’t mind the 20% reduction in sales since they let him go. The scoundrel declares his intention of partnering up with Bianca and Isabel gives him a reality check.
Rigor throws a fit upon learning of Gabriel’s botched attempt to rescue Victoria. Gabriel vows not to back down. He plans to sue Mr. Dela Vega. Speaking of, Roman receives a visit from some police officers who have come to follow up on the complaint Gabriel had filed against him.
Roman denies the allegations and assures the cops that he would bring his wife to the precinct to address the matter. Jay Jay happily hangs out with Steph at a store somewhere in town. They get stranded there when the rain begins to fall.
After a while, Steph decides to go through the rain with her friend, worried that her sister might get mad at her if she arrives home late. In the meantime, Gabriel discusses with his family his encounter with Roman and the case he had filed against him.
Rigor thinks he would easily weasel his way out of the matter with his numerous connections but Gabriel is confident that dear mother would testify against him in court. In the meantime, Roman informs Victoria about the cases Gabriel had filed against him. He then charges her to deny everything in order to dismiss the complaints before it reaches the court.
In no time, Roman takes his wife to the precinct alongside his lawyer. As expected, Vicky rubbishes Gabriel’s allegations, leaving him surprised and in absolute disbelief. Roman gloats and adds to the trouble. Steph arrives home with Jay Jay, dripping wet and Isabel lashes out at her for failing to call her to pick her up. Jay Jay gets a piece of her scolding when he tries to intervene.
Gabriel whines to his family about how his supposed mother had sided with her husband and Lydia urges him to focus on his studies. He receives a phone call from Isabel to ask him to meet her later for dinner. While Marilyn happily hangs out with Simeon and listens to him whine about how his boss usually mistreats him, Roman and Carlos connive together to ruin Gabriel.
Gabriel meets up with Isabel and Derek and is made an offer to join the latter’s team. He is delighted but his excitement dies down once he learns that coach Ambet isn’t part of the deal. Isabel and Derek strive to convince him to accept the offer. Carlos plans to call for a press conference to initiate his new plan. Later, Gabriel talks to Bianca about the offer he had been made and she urges him to accept it since he needs the money.
Following a phone call Roman had had made to the university where Gabriel studies, Gabriel is called into the dean’s office. He’s surprised to learn of the complaint Roman had made against him, and even more to know that he’s suspended until he’s able to clear his name.Isabel agrees to take Steph to and from school every day and she bans her from seeing Bianca’s brother again.
Later at TigerShark, Carlos proceeds to host the press conference, making deliberate cowardly efforts to badmouth Gabriel and ruin his reputation to the press, much to Isabel’s disbelief. It doesn’t take long for news to spread about the negative reports of Gabriel and Grandma Lydia gets worked up with how the Dela Vegas are ruining her grandson’s reputation. Gabriel calms her down and promises to fix the issue.
His genius plan is to go and see Roman at his office and offer to do anything so he would stop tormenting him, adding that many depend on him and would be affected if he can’t get a job. Roman gets in his face and questions whether he’s really Rigor’s son. He then declares that it’s just the beginning and he hasn’t seen the worst he can do to make him suffer.
