Janine’s Escape Date Backfires. Yvonne Clashes With Her Husband. Carmen’s Operation Goes Smoothly. Victor Resumes His Lie With Audrey & Affair With Janine.
Victor resorts to buying some flowers from a hawker to give Janine as a thank you gift for being there for him. Yvonne looks on in disbelief from the jeepney. After driving Janine to her house, Victor returns home very late as usual and finds his wife asleep at the dining table and proceeds to carry her to the bed. Janine has nothing better doing than to admire the rose Victor had given her earlier.
The next morning during breakfast, Victor informs his family about his promotion at work and pushes for them to go out and celebrate. Yvonne reminds him that her mother still needs to undergo operation so they can’t afford to do that for now. In the meantime, Carla makes another attempt to talk some sense into Janine about her unusual arrangement with Victor. Audrey returns home excitedly with a drawing to show her supposed father.
When dear mommy states that he’s still busy at work, she gets all whiny and emotional and begins blabbering about how she misses him.Yvonne tells her husband of how she had accumulated the money for her mother’s operation. Victor gets upset when he learns that she had borrowed from his sister Doris.
An argument ensues, with Victor whining like a little brat about how his wife doesn’t trust him, blah blah blah. Anyway, Carmen’s operation proceeds as scheduled and goes pretty smooth. Yvonne and her family excitedly look forward to her recovery. Carmen k!lls the mood by asking about Marlon who still hasn’t been found until now.
Later that night after dinner at home, Victor makes a pathetic attempt to reconcile with his wife. Janine sits alone in her room, staring at Victor’s contact and contemplating whether or not to call him. The very next morning, Victor wakes up to find 11 missed calls from Janine. He sits at the dining table with Marcus and decides to join him and his mother for their visit to the hospital later.
Victor and Yvonne apologize to each other for their misunderstanding the day before and finally reconcile with each other. After picking up her daughter from school, Janine has a talk with Carla about her unusual arrangement with Victor and admits how she seems to be falling in løvë with him. Carla is exasperated yet not the least bit surprised and she urges her friend not to act on her feelings.
However, Janine states that it might already be too late for that. So Victor seeks counsel from his mother about disloyalty and she urges him not to cause such pain to his wife. Carla lectures Janine on her situation and urges her to go on a date with a single guy to get Victor off her mind. After much talk and consideration, Janine reluctantly agrees to the idea.
Yvonne shows up at Doris’ house to pick up her son and she plans to make it up to Victor for their recent falling-out with a swimming trip.While Victor takes care of Audrey at home, Janine goes out on a date with some guy with a rotten behavior and sense of humor. Janine receives a couple of messages from Victor asking how things are going.
A moment later, she’s dropped off at home by her obnoxious date who comes on strong and tries to ki$$ her. As Victor looks on, Janine slaps the guy and he takes things to the extreme by trying to force himself on her even further. Victor hurries over to come to the rescue by beating up the guy and chasing him off.
When he later lectures Janine on the incident, she gives him attitude and whines about how she’s single and can do whatever she wants with her life. Victor professes his feelings for her and begins to make advances at her. Janine makes a pathetic attempt to resist but gives in in no time.Janine and Victor make out and sleep together again.
After everything, they begin blabbering about the wrongness of their situation and how they complete each other. Janine asks about his family and Victor justifies their relationship with their so-called løvë. Victor then returns home late to his family as has become his habit. The next morning, he gives Yvonne some money to have her mother discharged from the hospital and even cooks breakfast for her.
When asked where he had been last night, Victor claims that he had been with his friend Louie. Yvonne asks why he’s not been responding to her calls and texts of late and Victor then covers up his infidelity with even more pathetic lies. Yvonne proceeds to see her mother at the hospital where she gives her some somewhat good news about her brother Marlon.
Carmen gets all emotional about her persistent search for her missing son and thanks Yvonne for everything she’s done for her. A moment later after Carmen’s discharge, Victor shows up to see the family and agrees to let his wife pay constant visits home to aid her mother in her recovery.
He then receives a phone call from his “boss” and leaves to answer it. Yvonne and her father Jaime work together to take care of Carmen at home. Meanwhile, Victor continues with his ridiculous charade with Janine and Audrey at their house and even cooks for them.
Later that night, he sleeps together with mother and daughter in the same bed. His phone starts to chime and vibrate as Yvonne is desperately trying to contact her husband. Janine wakes up to the sound and after staring at the incoming caller ID for a while, she puts the phone on silence.
