Janine is teased by Carla about her apparent fondness for Victor. After her friend leaves, she freshens up for the day. Victor soon arrives and requests to leave early today because it’s his son’s birthday. Janine agrees.
While Yvonne prepares something for her son’s birthday celebration later that night, Janine goes out drinking with Carla at the bar. She laments over her bad luck in regards to relationships. Victor is stuck with Audrey at the house and he eagerly awaits Janine’s return so he could go home.
Following her husband’s inability to show up, Yvonne calls him on the phone and he apologizes and tells her that he can’t leave Audrey by herself unless her mother returns home. Yvonne gives her a piece of her mind before hanging up.
She then consoles Marcus who’s pretty disappointed with his father’s absence. Victor is relieved when Janine pulls over outside the house. After he puts Audrey to bed, he heads into the living room where he finds Janine pretty drunk and wasted. He’s compelled to support and carry her to her bedroom.
Janine incoherently tells him to stay with her forever before stealing a ki$$. Victor however insists on going home for his son’s birthday. A moment later, he arrives home very late and finds his family already in bed. He goes to sleep by Marcus.
The next morning, Janine wakes up with a hangover to discover a text message from Victor – he wouldn’t be coming to the house today. Janine is appalled when she recalls last night’s incident with him. Victor takes his son and wife to eat out in an attempt to make it up to them for his absence yesterday.
He actually has fun with his family. Janine persistently calls his phone but he doesn’t pay attention all that time. Yvonne returns home with her husband and a couple of gift bags, taunting him with his attempts to appease her because he feels guilty for his inability to spend time with her and their son.
Victor begins making out with her and for a moment, he recalls how Janine had ki$$ed him last night. The next day at the flower farm, Victor teaches Audrey about some manners to observe when talking to people, especially elders.
After the little girl runs off to go play around, Victor lectures Janine on the incident last night and how she could have been taken advantage of. Janine plays dumb when he brings up the ki$$ and makes a joke out of it.
Later, Victor drives her and Audrey to the house and on the way, they discuss about business and relationships. Janine jokingly tells him that he can commit to two wives.
Victor returns home to inform his wife about how his products have now come into demand. Yvonne worries that he might not have any more time for their family and Victor argues that its best they make use of the opportunity they’ve been given.
The next day, Janine takes Victor to see Mrs. Romero in Manila in regards to the supply of the handicraft products. Much to Victor’s disbelief, the client offers to order one hundred pieces of the horses to be delivered in two weeks’ time. Janine however assures her that the products will be ready in one week.
Once they return to the flower farm, Victor begins to work on some of the products and when he returns home late yet again, Yvonne gives him an earful, appalled to discover that he had really taken on another job and won’t be home for a few more days.
After the lovers’ quarrel, they eventually make up and make out in the shower. Victor manages to meet the quota by making the required quantity of the horses.
Yvonne pays off the loan to reclaim the wedding rings she had pawned off before and together with Nina, she excitedly plans to surprise her husband with a party to celebrate their anniversary tomorrow. Meanwhile, Janine dines with Victor and thanks him for his positive influence in the life of her daughter.
Jokingly, she states that they’re meant to be together. Upon his return home, Victor tells Yvonne about the outing he’s supposed to go to tomorrow with his coworkers. He promises not to spend the night there and Yvonne reluctantly agrees. The next morning, he quickly gets ready to leave and doesn’t seem to remember the significance of the day.
While Victor hangs out with Audrey and Janine, Yvonne excitedly organizes the surprise party at the house. When it becomes evident that her husband won’t be coming home any moment now, she merely sends him a text message to wish him a happy anniversary.
In the meantime, Janine deliberately makes Victor go shirtless by prompting her daughter to ask him to teach her how to swim. Now back at the house later that night, Victor puts Audrey to sleep with some bedtime story. Yvonne hopelessly continues to look forward to the arrival of her husband.
As Victor is ready to leave for home, Janine begins to throw herself at him and urging him to stay with her. She bluntly states that she wants him and even ki$$es him again for good measure.
Victor makes a pathetic attempt to stop her and in no time, he begins making out with her. Meanwhile, Yvonne smilingly stares at a photo of her husband and their wedding vows.
