Gabriel Faces Off With Carlos. Roman Makes Deliberate Efforts To Uncover The Truth. Maila & Bianca Discover A Shocking Secret About Victoria.
The episode begins with Roman staring down at his wife’s sleeping face with resolve. Victoria wakes up and when she asks if there’s a problem, he replies in the negative. The next morning at the office, Vicky receives a phone call from Rigor, telling her about how her husband has started investigating and even met with Maila last night.
He then urges her to be careful. Carlos gives Isabel an invitation for his mother’s 45th birthday party, as well as extras for her family, her father and stepmom inclusive. So Victoria actually calls Maila on the phone to ask her about what she had talked about with her husband.
Maila merely tells her to ask Roman herself and refuses to say anything in spite of Vicky’s persistence. Gabriel and Bianca take delight in hosting the sports clinic and having fun with the kids as Carlos and Isabel observe grudgingly. Maila tells her father about Victoria’s call earlier and he begins to wonder the kind of secret she has been keeping for so long.
They unwisely decide to ask Rigor about it. Roman receives word from his private investigator about how Rigor had contacted his wife earlier today on the phone. He speculates that Rigor might know that they’re investigating him and Roman tells him to continue with the investigation nonetheless.
While Gabriel takes the boys through some exercise, Bianca does same with the girls at the sports clinic. Leave it to Isabel the witch to take delight in contradicting her. Carlos treats Gabriel likewise. Bianca later lectures the kids about the spirit of good sportsmanship.
Rigor shamelessly picks a fight with Olsen at the market when he refuses to tell him about what he had discussed with Gabriel last night. Meanwhile, Roman has a talk with his wife about the birthday invitations he had sent out.
Victoria is appalled to learn that her husband had invited Maila and Rigor and she makes a pathetic attempt to convince him otherwise. She states that she doesn’t want to see Rigor at her party because he could embarrass them and Roman somewhat agrees with her.
Bianca and Gabriel have dinner with Carlos the scoundrel and the witch Isabel. Carlos is obviously jealous of the romance of the couple and he argues with Gabriel about the best way for kids to grow up.
He has the guts to badmouth how Grandma Lydia had raised him and in turn, Gabriel puts the scoundrel in his place with a subtle insult. After Bianca makes a futile attempt to dissolve the situation, Gabriel humiliates Carlos again when he makes another attempt to ridicule and belittle him.
Isabel the witch finds the situation laughable.Carlos whines to Isabel about Gabriel’s behavior earlier and how he can fire him if he wants to. Isabel notes that he can’t do that because his father would be mad at him. She then calls him out over his pretense and the friendly act he’s been putting on.
While Carlos later whines to Simeon about the very same matter, Gabriel talks with Olsen about the incident earlier at the restaurant, saying that he’s always suspected that Carlos had just been pretending to be nice to him. The next morning at TigerShark, Gabriel and Carlos apologize to each other for the argument last night.
The Agbayanis continue with their investigation to find evidence at the sports association. Maila is fortunate to come across Gretchen, an acquaintance from long ago. She, Bianca and Ben are shocked to learn that Victoria had gotten pregnant after the SEA games and Rigor was supposedly the father of the baby.
With this new info, they’re inclined to believe that Gabriel is the son of Victoria. Maila plans to talk to Vicky about the matter when the time is right to clear things up. Isabel talks to her mother about Victoria’s birthday party and urges her not to turn the place into a circus on her father’s account.
Sandra points out that it’s her wicked stepmother who should be warned. Bianca is taken by surprise when Mr. Dela Vega hands her some invitations for her family for Victoria’s birthday party. Gabriel also receives invites for himself and his grandma. Roman makes it crystal clear that Rigor isn’t invited.
Later at home, Roman questions his wife about her falling-out with Maila her supposed best friend and she evades the question and states that she wants to forget about the hardships of her past. Bianca plans to check out the clinic Victoria had given birth at in order to confirm whether or not she’s the mother Gabriel has been looking for.
Victoria prepares herself for her long-awaited birthday celebration and Carlos commends her look and shares in her joy. The Agbayanis also get themselves ready to leave for the mansion for the birthday. Bianca sees them off and hopes that there won’t be any trouble there tonight.
She would join them later after she checks out the clinic with Marilyn. In the meantime, Gabriel and Lydia also dress up for the birthday party. When Rigor gets wind of it, he makes known his intention to go as well. Lydia reveals that he’s not invited because Sir Roman hadn’t included his name on the guest list.
After throwing a fit, Rigor grudgingly gives in and decides not to protest any longer so Gabriel and Lydia get to leave the house in peace. Bianca arrives with Marilyn at the clinic to ask about Victoria. At the mansion, while Roman greets some guests, Vicky observes silently from afar as Maila shows up with her family.
