The show begins with the wedding of Yvonne and Victor. The couple live together in such harmony with their son Marcus. After breakfast, Victor decides to drop off their son at school before he heads to Manila for his job. At the port, the boss advises Victor to expand his arts and crafts business and get his own delivery truck for their long-term partnership. Later that night, Victor returns home and happily informs his family about the opportunity he’s been given, confident that they would become rich once he expands his business.
On this note, he soon goes to pawn his land titles for some loan to buy a delivery truck. Yvonne helps out her husband in the making of his horses/ponies. Unfortunately, Victor is met with an eyesore upon his return to Manila for the business partnership. With the port teeming with cops closing up the place, he comes to learn of the ugly truth – that the boss had been shipping illegal drugs by stuffing them in the locally handicraft products. Now he’s a wanted man.
Victor returns to his mother’s place downcast and devastated, lamenting over his misfortune, life’s injustices and his inability to give his family a comfortable life. He considers resorting to shady means to make money in order to clear their debts. Mrs. Guevarra encourages and counsels her son, stating that his dignity cannot be earned back once it’s gone. Victor returns home still downcast and troubled with his family’s situation and his wife tries to encourage him.
Yvonne drops off her son at school and upon seeing a job vacancy notice as a cook, she goes to the place to apply and once she gets the job, she sends her husband a text message to inform him. While cooking, Yvonne and her employer share their life experiences and dreams. Later that night, Yvonne and her husband sadly agree to pawn off their wedding rings in order to pay their son’s school fees so he can partake in his exams. They would then use the remaining for their daily expenses.
Following his recent stream of bad luck and inability to sell any of his products, Victor resolves to go out hawking. Nevertheless, that also proves to be a fruitless venture as he’s still not able to sell even a single horse. To make matters worse, he’s beaten by the rain which ends up destroying his work in the spot he had chosen. Victor returns home in a very bad mood and when his wife tells him of some job opening in Dubai, he gets upset and begins ranting about how tired he is of everything.
Yvonne strives to reason with him and calm him down. The next morning at his spot, Victor is motivated by a conversation between some fellow vendors to sign the application form. Janine picks up her daughter Audrey in school and after commending her drawing, she agrees to get her a pony as a gift. At home, Janine stalks a profile of some Dale Gopez on the internet and consoles her daughter when she has a bad dream about her father. Janine begins her hopeless search of a pony for her daughter.
As fate will have it, Marcus suddenly falls ill and Yvonne is compelled to empty out her savings to rush him to the hospital. In the meantime, Janine comes across Victor and gladly buys all of his horses. The catch is that he would have to deliver them at her farm and to make sure that he doesn’t run away with her money, she takes a photo of him.
At the hospital, Yvonne calls Victor to inform him about their son’s sickness and assures him that there’s nothing to worry about because he’s getting better. Victor rides a bus with his products and heads for the Love Blooms farm. He takes a really long walk to get to the place. After he delivers the horses, Janine asks him to make a barn to house her daughter’s horses because she wants to surprise her on her upcoming birthday.
Victor is reluctant to accept the job and Janine assures him that he would be properly compensated. After a business meeting with a partner of hers, Janine gets berated by some woman on account of how her mother had caused the breakup of her parents. The woman brands Janine’s mother as a whore and home wrecker, and Janine later cries her eyes out on account of it.
Victor tells his wife about the job offer he had received and Yvonne playfully cautions him not to do anything else there besides carpentry work. The next morning, Victor begins with his work and constantly receives phone calls from his wife to check up on him. Janine smilingly observes nearby. Victor makes considerable progress and Janine comes to commend him. They begin discussing about their families, their children in particular.
Later that night while packing up his tools, Victor receives a phone call from the agency he had applied to. When Janine asks about it, he tells her that he’s required to report at the agency to fix his papers for the Dubai job. Yet again, Janine stalks the social media profile of Dale and consoles her daughter when she has another bad dream about her father.
Victor discusses with his family about the Dubai job during breakfast the next morning. Yvonne gets all emotional about living life without him and proposes to also apply for a job there. Marcus then lightens up the mood by jokingly saying that he would also go to Saudi Arabia. The episode concludes as Victor and Yvonne warmly embrace their son in a group hug.
